Is that on?
If so, how to enable it?

I don't think you can. My gf confirmed with UOB. They will either send paper statement, or must login website to download.

UOB stupid shit liao. Just when my gf settle her case with UOB. This morning receive sms saying my e-statement ready for download in UOB banking. Immediately call bank. Seems that card is blocked only, not yet terminate/cancel.

And coz SST has been charged, which they automatically reversed, coz my card got transactions, so system send sms to me. Luckily is zerolised. Abo i sure call whack them kao kao.

To all already cancelled your card, please call bank again even if you have requested. Seems like their cancellation team is sleeping on the job.

That's why I said everything is closed till retention team calls you.

How long will the retention team take to call you after you asked for card cancellation? I called CS to cancel my card 2 weeks ago and till now still hvn rcv any call from retention team.. I really want to cancel my uob one card before the sst is charged.

I think they will cancel or deactivate your card on the spot when you request and confirm want to cancel the card. Retention team is the guys call to offer something and reactivate back your card when you agree to take their offer. If they don't call you, means they do not want to hold you back.

I did that before, once I called, I cannot use my card till the r.team called and I accept their rebate offer, then they reactivate my card. But base on previous threads users sharing, just wait till sst charged, then straight away call to request rebate/waiver, if they don't want, then only you ask to cancel then they will offer your something on that point. If you want to cancel the card and don't wish the retention team to call you back, make a firm stand to the CS.
Otherwise, they just put your card into suspension mode till the retention team to call you for closure.
It could take weeks depends on how long the requests put forward to the retention team.

from my experiences, no. CS dont cancel the card immediately. there is SOP for them to escalate to retention team to take up any cancellation request.

Yes, my experience same as cybpsych.. CS can’t cancel for us.. only retention Dept / card cancellation Dept can do so..

But they do deactivate your card right? When I call to cancel, they deactivate my card and ask me to wait for retention call back. It was three days only before they call me back.
