For new UOB card, is it autolinked to UOB apps? Do we need to register secure thingy at the ATM or branch?

Also, how long it takes for the card to be ready for collection at the branch after getting the approval sms?

When I first got the EVOL card (opted for mail drop), I went to a branch to sort all that out cos I don't have existing CASA with them.

Found out the hard way that if you got the EVOL card, you can't set the PIN at the ATM, so had to take queue number and deal with human anyway, so...

Yes.

hmm... if you are setting up like a savings account, you probably need to set up password etc... but i don't recall doing it for a credit card. Mainly set the pin online? /phone?. Applied quite a few UOB cards but didn't go to the ATM once, haven't even activated my ATM card at all.

Also, how long it takes for the card to be ready for collection at the branch after getting the approval sms?

For normal cards like World and PME, about 2 weeks.

For Zenith, almost a month. (maybe because I applied during holidays?)

Yes, I was told holidays/campaigns may have an impact when you receive your card.

UOB is more like get the business first. Once signed already, they just take their own sweet time to process.

My first two cards, the mobiles sales team, met me in Bangsar, cam all the way from Sri Petaling branch. They came with a credit card machine that can print out your details as receipt for your application, quite impressive.

The customer service and the processing of the application were, well, a bit cacat. If you compared to Maybank and CIMB customer services and turaround time, UOB is hopeless.

For Maybank, I can say within 10 business days, you will know if your application is accepted or rejected.

For future reference, approval sms on Monday, call to pick up at branch today Wednesday. Appeared at online yesterday. Too high CL, will ask to reduce.

Which card? Uob offers 0% BT quite often, isn't it better to have high CL?

Yesterday I apply OnePlatium via Web banking without submitting doc.
This afternoon a lady called to confirm n authenticate n was asked to listen to the t&c. Everything so fast n efficient.
Few banks offer cc without doc, good for those without active income. Any other banks doing this?7
Hope they also increase my CL.
THIS card should be better than HL wise, at least can also use on weekdays. And AF & SST rebate always possible.

UOB World Card. Don't want to commit with BT, only 1st year has AF waiver. I am not aware about no docs requirement, still submit as usual. Frankly, wasn't expecting it to be approved as my eccris is messy with the many flexipays and BTs.

You applied for premium card? Maybe existing cl not high enough?

Just give them a call and ask.

Currently holding VISA Infinite (min 120k annual income requirement), applying for PRVI Miles Elite (min 100k annual income requirement).

I can predict their reply: diff department, diff credit access mechanism bla bla bla

Let me try submit Borang B then try apply the card with new Borang B

That’s weird as I also got the PME after I got the VI. Didn’t need to submit any additional documents.

Guys, for UOB ONE, can I confirm if the groceries is limited to only selected supermarkets? Or applies to all supermarkets under the MCC?
