we as consumer must voice out the concern in public for eg forum let the public aware
else if follow ur pattern, not satisfied dont participate, then bank will keep bullying u as consumer
*
Sure you can voice... but banks don’t really care. Their T&C is made clear, the campaign is for new to bank customers and not existing customers like yourself. If you don’t like UOB can always cancel your UOB card and don’t have any business with them.

That is voicing your dissatisfaction with action — so UOB won’t earn your money.

Just got my PME annual fee waived. Did the request via phone last week and today got SMS notification.

SST I guess need to call and speak to a human for rebate. I spent ~RM30k 2 months back. Actually wasn't expecting to waive. If it mattes, I came from Citi.

Before that, puik, look UOB cards no up.

Thanks for sharing

This genuinely sucks. Airport limo is good. Grab gotta order and wait long long right? Sigh. But I guess the bank needs to cut cost.

UOB preparing exit ccard within 1 2 yrs. Then soon in next 3 5 yrs fully exit country.

Where you get this info?

They are now solidly the #1 credit card for the affluent base in Malaysia. And their monthly numbers can fight Maybank despite lesser cards.

Apply additional card rejected, but approve permanent limit increase application, what's the logic?

You applied for premium card? Maybe existing cl not high enough?

Just give them a call and ask.

Currently holding VISA Infinite (min 120k annual income requirement), applying for PRVI Miles Elite (min 100k annual income requirement).

I can predict their reply: diff department, diff credit access mechanism bla bla bla

Let me try submit Borang B then try apply the card with new Borang B

I hold the PME
Plan to apply the VI. I’ll update here when I do.

Lately UOB seem to be focusing in increasing CL.
Keep receiving SMSs
Usually i increase CL on demand than permanent higher CL.
*
You’re a UOB customer or Citibank?

I’m Citibank, UOB never really cared about me despite spending >50k in a year.

No offers for BT 0%, no increase in CL. Nothing.

Migrated from Citibank.
I spend way more than 50k on my PME.
*
Maybe that’s why you get CL increase? Due to your high spending.

I don’t even get near to 50% of CL.

If it is a higher tier than your existing cards, then you need to submit income documents.

Call? UOB promo booth?

I got PME, want to add EVOL so I guess fits the criteria. I’m too lazy to submit docs… they have my CL and info..

Love MBB for this, so easy to add card.

RM0 UOB: Dear Customer, your card fee waiver request has been approved. The reversal will be reflected on your next statement.

But SST RM25 still have to pay…

Hmm, wonder why no full waiver then. Problem is UOB won't allow me to speak on behalf of my wife, and I'm the one who handles all these details normally. Maybe go through email.

Banks can’t do on-behalf instructions
They can take instruction from principle if she’s your supplementary card holder.
