Did anyone applied for the BT 6months?
have a statement date today but the amount seem to be very weird to me. Applied for 16.4k balance transfer, but the statement due amount is 16.4k and minimum amount is 820, which is not tally to 6 month (2733.33) per amount.
called to CS, they just mentioned to follow the minimum payment... is this statement amount correct be show as total 16.4k

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jan 28 2025, 05:06 PM) of course if you already reported it, then wait for the fraud txn to be reversed lo you call the bank again to find out whether you need to pay for the statement balance or not ... chargeback dispute can last longer than you 1 month statement cycle some banks need you to pay first, some banks ok to skip it since it's already 'flagged' as fraud Thanks for the tip I already called back to uob just now and they already filed dispute on those three transactions that not performed by me for sure so temporarily reversal was granted, 20 over ish k ask me to pay I really pengsan

QUOTE(newbie99 @ Nov 5 2024, 01:10 PM) Just to share coz some websites claimed Zenith AF is not waivable. I called UOB and they said they would waive the 1k annual fee. Subsequent annual fee waiver will need a minimum spend of 250k yearly QUOTE(aurora97 @ Feb 5 2025, 03:18 PM) Hi want to check, is the annual fee for Zenith card can be waived or not? QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 5 2025, 03:20 PM) quick search from this topic Thanks. I know about this quite a few years back. Even SST could be waived. Recently called up UOB and they refused to waive cause imposed by Gov BS. The terms and conditions are changing every now and then, so better check first before applying, so mahuan.

The terms and conditions are changing every now and then, so better check first before applying, so mahuan. SST is govt law. bank cannot waive it. cardholder is paying the sst, bank is just collecting the sst on behalf of the govt. as a token of goodwill or retention, bank give a separate rebate to you. AF is bank's fee, which is not restricted to any law except to bank's policy and discretion to waive or not. no need keep checking. ALWAYS call bank. simple to do. our answer or experience dealing with bank may not be valid or applicable to you. This post has been edited by cybpsych: Feb 5 2025, 03:36 PM
