Err…this sounds like fraud

Ask your wife apply supplementary card for you. That’s the proper way

But the cashback is too attractive, as long as I'm not charged annual fees I'm ok.

One of my UOB card got tagged which caused me damaged of over 20k and it was included within the credit card statement. So now my problem is should I pay for it? Why I called up the bank to block my card the officer would say these transactions will be reversed

2 separate matters, and dpeneds on how bank treats the "fraud txn". you need to ask bank how is the treatment.

1. fraud txn already posted in your cc statement, which was not flagged earlier (before it got posted). this is card statement cutoff behavior.

2. since txn already posted, bank will trigger chargeback dispute. they will flag the txn for fraud dispute (with the merchant and its acquirer). if either failed to provide proof that the txn is valid/genuine, the txn will be reversed (from your cc account).

Ah means I have to call up the bank again and ask? Because I thought it will auto reverse but saw it was posted as transactions that’s why I ask here first before deciding the next step

of course if you already reported it, then wait for the fraud txn to be reversed lo

you call the bank again to find out whether you need to pay for the statement balance or not ... chargeback dispute can last longer than you 1 month statement cycle

some banks need you to pay first, some banks ok to skip it since it's already 'flagged' as fraud

hello...sorry if this sound like a stupid question...just want to confirm...means we see Posting Date in the calendar month right?

For avoidance of doubt, “minimum spend” is defined as the total retail transaction
successfully charged and posted to the Cardmember’s Card account within each calendar
month excluding the below:
a. transactions made on Balance Transfer, Cash Advance, Easi-payment Plan (EPP),
Flexi Credit Plans;
b. refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent retail transactions; and
c. payment of annual card membership fees, interest payments, late payment fees,
charges for cash withdrawals, government service tax and any other form of
service / miscellaneous fees.
d. transactions made via Jompay and FPX.
