I'm surprise UOB until now didn't send out email/sms informing users to switch to UOB tmrw app, and about card payment need choose UOB bank. They expect everyone to just know. Pity those who are not tech savvy they might pay wrong, or don't know how to check the app.

They just send this SMS:
RM0 UOB: We have successfully migrated your Citi credit card(s) to UOB. Please continue to use your credit card as usual.

Yet behind everything is no longer as usual.

What is UOB Pay? It needs bluetooth instead of NFC. So I guess it is not a paywave-like function.

Asking as an ex-Citi card member.

Good for UOB - bypassing fees to pay Samsung (UOB didn't take over Citi's position in Samsung Pay) and no need to get on Google Pay.

But troublesome to users as need to launch UOB app - login - choose UOB Pay - dismiss prompt to make UOB Pay default - then tap on terminal. Too many steps just to make a payment compared to the more seamless and integrated Samsung, Google and Apple Pays' way.

I'm having trouble trying to add the UOB One Card (previously Citi Cashback) into UOB Pay. The page keeps loading after enter the OTP.

anyone was using Citibank card and have an existing UOB account (not credit card, just UOB saving acc/debit card acc). my citibank card still does not displayed in the UOB app/portal. called CS on Thursday and they said Friday morning the card will be displayed. Till now , Saturday still cant see it.

can I know more details?

my citibank platinum cashback changed to uob platinum cashback, statememt on 15th July. No cashback dhoen until today (recent transaction) ya.

Finally managed to get credentials to login UOB TMRW app.

1 issue, I have to login to the UOB TMRW app every single time, need to request SMS OTP to login and another SMS OTP to Activate Secure Pin.

Does anyone else have the same issue? I am using iPhone - iOS 17

After the secure pin is activated, they won't send otp again.

SecurePin already activated 2 days ago. But still since the last 2 days I have to login each time and get 2 x SMS OTP.

Last time using Citibank just login first time. Then the next time just use Face ID

Using iPhone I think no options under settings to set up secure pin again.

Under settings only have manage secure word and manage display name.

Every time I log in it will ask OTP 2 times what a lousy app.
