QUOTE(Oldskolboyz @ Apr 22 2018, 11:14 PM) This part actually call as "Dual PDF" & Google Pixel should be the 1st to popularizing it. Pixel 2 also the 1st to combined Dual PDF + Ai (NPU). No no not pdaf, RGB sensor with Quad Bayer structure at least according to this. http://tieba.baidu.com/p/5660031071But upon further research seems the sensor has been used by vivo before so now I'm not sure.

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Apr 23 2018, 03:59 PM) Biggest battery for a sd636 phone so far? Most likely won't beat RN5 camera, due to much smaller sensor , no dual pd, no mention of EIS even. But if your main priority is battery, then it is 'the' phone for you. Yeah...camera wise will lose to RN5 as RN5 is using smaller sensor however other specs it might beat RN5,, Below will be prices in IDR which is quite competitive indeed.. 3GB/32GB - IDR 3.299.000 [approx..MYR 921.25] 4GB/64GB - IDR 2.799.000 [approx..MYR 781.48] 6GB/64GB - IDR 2.299.000 [approx..MYR 641.88]

QUOTE(kopi @ Apr 23 2018, 04:37 PM) What is this I read poor Asus support, if its that bad support why would I want to get Asus phone. Will they provide OS update for next 1 or 2 version? Lenovo seems to have poor support and abandon Oreo update for P2 I don't even see security update for long time now. If it's same thing I might as well get Xiaomi. i use asus phone/tablet before. their update are frequent and consistent. much better than xiaomi. after 3 years, i thought they wouldn't update the os to new android version, but to my surprise, they did without much hoohaa. i also like the zen ui back then. but i like miui overall exp more.

Sorry, I meant their after sales service. Lots of horror stories when users send their laptop for repair in Asus Service Centers. So if your phone is faulty, expect some sort of low grade support when claiming warranty. Luckily, the Asus Zenfone 3 that I have so far is working fine. Therefore, I am quite happy with Asus's build quality.

QUOTE(joemiad @ Apr 23 2018, 05:24 PM) WTH? That's an old model phone. We are talking about the new Zenfone Max Pro M1. It's different from Zenfone 4 or Zenfone 5. There is even a Zenfone Plus Max M1 running mediatek SoC which was launched early this year. Don't be confused.
