I'm not really care about the camera that much because about 70% of photos in my gallery are product samples, static objects etc... 

After breaking up all these, I think 4GB RAM version of Redmi 5 Plus should be enough for me, really don't know the reason or what is the point of those "extra capabilities" for my usage.

Nah, I would take the Mi Note 3 over the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro, a phone with Snapdragon 636, micro USB, worse dual camera setup compared to Meizu M6 Note, and no water resistance, when imported to Malaysia will cost a lot and that will the make the phone more expensive compared  to the Mi Note 3, a phone with a Snapdragon 660, USB Type C, better dual camera setup(scored 90 marks on DxOMark)  and IP67 water resistance.

Still remember mi4i?  It was introduced in India as well back then. And then it was brought into Malaysia afterwards. And yes. It's global rom. I am sure redmi note 5 pro will follow this way as well.

It's essential for good camera phone to have ois. Hand shakes is really bad for IQ.

Mi note 3 no IP67 water ressistance... of course the buld quality far better than Redmi series

I meant that the camera is bad for videos, you need OIS for good camera which can do both videos and photos well. A good camera needs OIS to be good at videos, it's like you've never used a high end smartphone before.

It's meaningless to argue about the camera. Redmi Note 5 Pro is still in Redmi line, thus the camera will not up to what we expected it should be.

Xiaomi spoil you guys too much d, now you want ois+usb c+fast charger+5.99 18:9 screen+sd660+water proof for below Rm1000. 😂 You can google lah, they only profit US$2 per phone on average, it's already being sold at cost price.

Damn right. Redmi phones are budget phones. Redmi note 5 pro is a good phone, but it's not a great phone. If you want better camera and better specs, then Redmi phone is clearly not for you.

So guys, please stop condemning why Redmi note pro 5 don't have great camera, why don't have type - c etc. It is what it is.  Like it,  buy it. Don't like it,  then go buy other phone. As simple as that.
