I wonder...if I use Samsung fast charger (QC 2.0) to charge Redmi Note 5 Pro, can I get the QC 2.0 speed on it? Sorry for such a silly question. It's been a while I haven't touched Xiaomi phone. My last Xiaomi phones are Mi3 & Redmi Note 2.

Yup! I seldom play game, even if I do, I play mostly 2D puzzle games.

I'm not really care about the camera that much because about 70% of photos in my gallery are product samples, static objects etc... 

After breaking up all these, I think 4GB RAM version of Redmi 5 Plus should be enough for me, really don't know the reason or what is the point of those "extra capabilities" for my usage. 

Still remember mi4i?  It was introduced in India as well back then. And then it was brought into Malaysia afterwards. And yes. It's global rom. I am sure redmi note 5 pro will follow this way as well.

My first Mi4i getting hot easily , once the processor is over heating , phone speed and performing getting weaker and slower, less than a month only.
This is the most shorten life for my history with Mi4i 16GB white color body.

I think Xiaomi need to stop releasing so many phone models. This Redmi Note 5 Pro is almost the same as Mi Note 3 and Mi 6. They only will saturated their own market further and adding more work for their MiUI team to update firmware for the various models. That is why you see Samsung never update their low to mid range phones. They only update firmware (android version) for their high end models.

The RM569 RN5 3/32 that I bought from Lazada yesterday was just delivered!!! Super happy  

First thing I did was to call MIservice center to check the IMEI.

Good news again. IMEI checks out - orig MI M'sia set 

BAD news

The girl told me the warranty is up till end sept 2019 . I asked her 2 more times . Still end Sept 2019

So I was thinking wtf! I bought direct from Xiaomi flagship store. Not some reseller, right?

Then I look at the box - got EIN sticker - authorised distributor  ... another WTF LOL

Another thing... last time I bot my RN2 ,  there was an invoice in the package show seller name , S/N & iirc IMEI of the phone. This time nothing at all. 3rd WTF

So guys, what do you think I should do? 1.5 months less warranty & I dun hv any invoice to prove I bought from Xiaomi flagship store yesterday

If bought from lazmall, they will email the invoice after 1-2 days delivered.

I don't think it has started selling in Lazada yet. I googled and it seems that only global version is available at the moment.

another view  - shows that the TG width matches the visible screen ie does not cover the black border of the screen. If view sideways @ say 45deg, can see gap. LOL if need to replace, next time must check width first    If buy online, cannot be certain

That day I played around with RN6 Pro and its camera has more functions compared to RN5.

Other than that it's the same. Not forgetting the notch.

Whatsapp have to for work. Youtube and FB mainly for timepass. So I guess 3G should be enough. Just thought since Android OS is more .. demanding (if that's the right word) then maybe 4G should be minimum what with most brands having their own skin on top.
