Mine slow to lock on & likes to point to opposite direction. 😒

Point to opposite direction? But once you start moving then it should adjust back quickly right?

Here are some tips to save battery from my prespective

1) turn off location service (optional, on when needed)
2) turn off bluetooth (optional, on when needed)
3) turn off app background refresh
3) turn off tap to wake (main culprit, i turn this off and major improvement of battery life)

Lower brightness level might help as well

Add one more. Turn ON reduce motion

Or an android with 5000mah batt ha ha.

I'm seriously impressed with ipx battery life. A device with 5+ inch display and a measly 2716mah batt and it can last a whole day for my usage.

My previous note5 with 3000mah could last as long, but only if I turned on medium power saving mode all the time, without bluetooth and location on.

That’s what I thought.
Anyway don’t have to turn off anything, this is not android where you have to micromanage everything, it’s pathetic.
It’s a smart phone, use it like one.

Funny thing is I was already moving/driving at constant speed, suddenly like signal loss, like the gps needs to re-lock on again, then point towards reverse direction.

Lol. Happened many times, until I got fed up & just live with it.

Yes I know. I had double tap on the assistive icon for locking the screen but it’s always a hassle to find the icon.
