QUOTE(TongCN @ Jul 16 2009, 08:34 AM) Hi guys, I had juz registered my xbox live recently and set my locale at Australia, as I heard that once registered the locale, you will be forever bound to that locale. <-- First gamer profile So what I want to ask here is if I register another new xbox live, do I need to create another new gamer profile? <-- Second gamer profile Cause I don't want to lose all my save data in the 1st gamer profile but want to try on Singapore locale. Will changing the locale in windows live ID (1st gamer profile) and xbox 360 system setting's locale effect them? Or is it possible to move my 1st profile save game data to 2nd profile in order to continue? Thanks in advance. data/saved game cant be transferred between gamer profile. each gamer profile will have their own gamer's data. erm and i dont think we can change locale once u set it. correct me if im wrong.

Thanks for the reply We can change in our system setting there, but then we can change our windows live ID also. However, the only thing i know that if i want to pay for the gold member, i can only use the Aus live card. But i hope that i can change the locale only Anyone tried b4? and remember you can only remove your card info from your MS billing account just by calling their customer support.. there's no other way to remove it.. so if you don't like it that way, I suggest you buy points or prepaid card from amazon or any other source..

QUOTE Each year that your Xbox LIVE membership needs to be renewed and you have a credit card on file with us, we automatically renew the account. We've heard from some members that, for a variety of reasons, they'd like the option to turn this off. I am going to show you how to do this in a few easy steps.
* Sign in to Xbox.com and go to the My Account section.
* Click the Membership level link on the left.
* You'll see a page that has your Membership level, and the end date. Under that, you'll see your “Automatic Renewal” status.
* If it reads ON (like the screenshot above) You can click the ON link and you'll be brought to next page that will let you switch it on or off. (screenshot)
* Make your selection, then click next.
* You'll be returned to your Membership level page, where you can confirm your selection (screenshot)
Hopefully, that will help

Hi guys I just recently trying to sign up to xbox live but I got the following error message: "xbox live isn't currently available in the locale associated with this windows live id". How we check for the locale of windows live ID?
How exactly should I change it? do I need to change it on XBOX's system setting and a new live ID as well? But when I try to register a new live ID I got defaulted to Malaysia is this correct? Really need help setting this up guys?

Which locale you set in your Xbox 360 right now? If it is Singapore then u will need to have Singapore live ID. Just register a new live ID with Singapore as locale or edit your live ID to Singapore under your information <<--- Didn't try this(2nd) one so not sure can or not.

I have a question, since I ever got my 360 since Feb 08.
Issue : If I'm not connected to the internet (not on LIVE), game saves (such as Far Cry 2) are saved in the year of 2005.
Remedies tried : Tried changing the time settings appropriately. Oddly, it works. But whenever I save a game (offline, not connected to Live), its still 2005.
So what's the deal here?
I am finding such a hard time finding the most recent game save of Far Cry 2. And you know FC2, it takes a while to load and the screenshot of the game save is so small.

there is no CMOS clock on Xbox, thus everytime u turn off the console the clock reset to 2005
when in live, it uses server time , thus you will always get correct time
there is no such thing as adapter problem
