hmmm I was using the RM 60 streamyx combe package (old modem) but it can at least login though. Is your riger in router mode?

Just before I forget thanks guys I finally fixed my issues with locale.

I hope this right place to ask but I can't set up my Xbox to connect to the network or the internet (Streamyx). I'm not a total noob at this so it's quite puzzling. I've tried a few times over the past few years but each time just gave up.

Can someone help me out with exact settings?

Xbox360 elite (not cracked, modded)

+ direct connect with cable to

D-link router/modem (connected to laptop via cable & wirelessly connected to 2 netbooks, wii, psp etc)
- model DSL-2640T (have to confirm)

I've tried all the tips from these forums and Google. Set Static IP/Dynamic IP. Set DNS, gateway. Set All auto. Nothing works.

And why can't it even get into the network? If I attach the cable to a previously unattached netbook is no problems.

Even connect to XBL, it still hardly to play smoothly with others region's player due to our streamyx :\
Always lag if non-local player T__T

I have been trying to connect Xbox Live with my new Streamyx 1MBPS for 2 weeks but to no avail. All relevant ports have been opened (88, 3074, 53, 80) and I even tried to put my Xbox 360 IP into DMZ. It said connected to Internet but cannot connect to Xbox Live. I suspect the Riger modem wireless router (provided by Telekom) is causing incompatibility problem here. May I know which modem wireless router you guys are using to connect to Xbox Live? I intend to purchase a new modem wireless router. I'm using official Xbox 360 wireless adapter.

Added on October 28, 2009, 8:21 amFinally, I'm able to connect to Xbox Live without problem. Apart from open relevant ports in my modem router, I also must set manually IP address in my Xbox (actually same address setting as Automatic). In addition, I set my Xbox MAC address into my modem router to reserve the static IP. Now, I can connect to Xbox Live immediately. 

Login to your modem router configuration page using tmadmin as user id and password. Then, choose Advanced Setup=>NAT=>Virtual Servers. Select Custom Server and name it as "Xbox Live" or whatever name you like. Enter server IP address with your Xbox IP (usually in this form 192.168.1.X). Enter External Port Start and External Port End with 88 and select protocol UDP. Repeat for port 3074 with protocol TCP/UDP and port 53 with protocol TCP/UDP. Log out from your modem router configuration page.

In your Xbox, you must remember to set manual IP (same as the server IP address you set in NAT). Automatic IP will not work even though the addresses are correct. DNS can be left out to Automatic setting. Restart router and test Xbox Live connection. It should work.

i have 1 problem which said i cannot connect to Xbox Live... i need to change MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) settings to 1364 bytes... any one have this problem...
I'm using StremyX with their free wireless modem... and i cannot connect to Live...

Hi guys, i am temporarily using Riger DB108-WL modem.(last one got fried by lightning)
But with this router modem, im having trouble connecting to Live, keeps saying about MTU.
