QUOTE(aceejay @ Aug 8 2007, 05:34 AM) finally !! canon powershot club in here haha.. just bought the S5 series ..noob here btw Welcome to the S series club. Added on August 8, 2007, 7:47 amQUOTE(CompMac @ Aug 8 2007, 04:43 AM) The aperture range given represents the widest aperture achievable by the camera at wide angle for the former and telephoto for the latter. I have a question here, let's say I set my S3 aperture at F3.5, in term of opening, is it the same as F3.5 on a SLR lens? This post has been edited by kelvinyam: Aug 8 2007, 07:47 AM

One day when I find that the cam is the bottle neck, I'll take this hobby more seriously (read: putting more hard earn cash into it). So far I'm happy with what S3IS can do.
