QUOTE(tympg @ Jan 29 2018, 11:50 PM) Strange experience. Today for the first time I enabled mobile data on the Unifi account. reservation quota. It was a very brief session but then I checked the app and it said I have 19.95GB remaining. I checked my internal data counter and it said I only used 4MB, so naturally I was not too happy. I thought something wrong with Unifi's data counter. But later i check the app again and it says 20GB back again but the 50MB data is now 46MB remaining. So it deducted the right amount correctly after all. The mystery is why it suggested I used 50MB earlier on and then corrected the amount later, but then deducted from the 3G/4G allocation when I was definitely in a 4G environment. I think their data accounting software is still not stable. |

After logout and re-login app, the counter corrected itself, and deduct only then 50MB quota. It was a very brief session but then I checked the app and it said I have 19.95GB remaining. The mystery is why it suggested I used 50MB earlier on and then corrected the amount later, but then deducted from the 3G/4G allocation when I was definitely in a 4G environment. I think their data accounting software is still not stable. Maybe initialization process. But still a bug though haha. QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jan 30 2018, 07:09 AM) For those who port in to Unifi-M, ensure to call all the banks for them to reset TAC code generator to your number... I ported in also. So far, no problem getting TAC from both cimb and maybank. But just curious, do we really need to tell them to reset? Or only tell them if there's problem? |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jan 30 2018, 07:09 AM) 20GB per SIM at RM0.00 (if self pickup and while "stock" last) even 6% GST also not imposed if self pickup... For me, all the 10 sim cards i have collected is my secondary main line while my currect number (still under umobile) will be primary sub line. All other telcos can just sit down quietly until 31st March 2018... no need to fight with Unifi-M as ppl MNP blindly for free 20GB... will port out back once 20GB finished or after 30 days cooling period ended... For those who port in to Unifi-M, ensure to call all the banks for them to reset TAC code generator to your number... Why i said like that is actually sometime i need to travel and when i'm back to mainland, i still got 3GB + 3GB VideoONZ to spend for the last 7 days... There are so many call/sms/data wasted if i'm away for 2-3 weeks overseas or offshore... Thanks to Unifi Mobile, and also the generousity of them giving out 20GB per sim card, i'm going to change my U28 to prepaid on 31 Jan 2018 and from then on, my primary line will be my sub line just for receiving call or sms and using Binfinite 200 points to maintain the number for every 61 days. As for the secondary main line i refer to, these are the sims that used for my daily call/sms/data. There is no expiry date, just need to reload RM10 on the 89 days, and if the 100min/100sms/200GB LTE/500MB 3G has finished, i just need to focus on one of the card to perform reload and buying add on. Before the free quota finish, i just need to make a 5 sec call to Canada/France/Thailand/UK/USA fixed line with a cost of RM0.15, and with the RM10 reload without making any add on purchase, the 200GB can be slowly consume for the next 16years++~ Of cos during this 16 years i will definitely reload on one of the Unifi mobile sim because the 100min/100sms might finish up as my primary sub card only can use for 2 days validity, but i still got RM2 accumulate each time i perform reload, therefore i got a lot of credit to use in the future and time freedom for me to perform reload/add on~ Who else wants to share how are they going to use this Unifi Mobile? QUOTE(mrfarhatadib89 @ Jan 30 2018, 08:33 AM) collected my sim yesterday, but still no phone to use it i already told you don't believe to mouth and only believe on TnC.yesterday i also ask the officer at tm about validity period according to him, an sms or call also reset the 90days cycle Yes one call or sms can reset the 90 days cycle but not from add on. You can check the time stamping in the history link in your apps and there you can see the reload/add on/pay per use history. That's the place you can check the 90 days cycle. |

Ok, I just ported my secondary Digi number to Unifi Mobile.
If I am satisfied with this, can I request for more SIMs? I only requested for 1 sim. |

That's the place you can check the 90 days cycle. Other telcos require you to reload RM10 for validity of 10 days, aka RM1/ day to have an active internet connection (for whatsapp, wechat), even at 64kbps. The other option is Digi Super long life, which requires RM100++ per year (about RM9 ++ per month). For Unifi mobile, you can go for RM15 reload (internet) every 90 days. You get high speed internet for longer period of time. |
