QUOTE(szaku89 @ Jan 27 2018, 08:27 PM) Hi there anybody bought via online unifi mobile apps? It's mentioned the owner have to present IC when they courier the SIM cards to our address. What if I'm not at home ? Can my family members collect on behalf of me? Use office address...As for my case, the "Line Clear" courier-man just slot the parcel into the mailbox. But he did call me and asked for my permission to do so. Also, he is very "careful" by confirming that my porch has the correct car plate number... One more thing, don't throw away the Delivery Order outside the parcel as it contains the serial numbers that correspond to all the numbers for each SIM card... |

QUOTE(backislan @ Jan 27 2018, 08:48 PM) Gone to TMpoint and they cannot scan my ic... Told me to go to JPN to get new ic... Never had problem b4 in my life when using my ic... So stupid using camera scanner Nothing to do with our myKad. Just ensure the lighting surrounding the phone is sufficient (not too bright and not too dark...) |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Jan 27 2018, 09:22 PM) What's the LTE coverage like...? Seems very limited for Unifi mobile... That's the purpose of the "complimentary" 20GB is for... i.e. to test all the areas that we're "engaged" especially at home and work... Setia Alam where I stay only 3G all the way, no signs of LTE... .... By right, we should not immediately port-in our primary number... Get a trial SIM first to test the coverage and reliability...sometime can get full bar 4G+ but due to congestion issue, speed deteriorates... If "balik kampong" season, stand-by prepaid data from other Telco(s)... Can always port out after 30 days cooling period... Conclusion : Unifi-M is not for our primary number... |

QUOTE(alexchew_2020 @ Jan 30 2018, 12:28 AM) 20GB per SIM at RM0.00 (if self pickup and while "stock" last) even 6% GST also not imposed if self pickup...All other telcos can just sit down quietly until 31st March 2018... no need to fight with Unifi-M as ppl MNP blindly for free 20GB... will port out back once 20GB finished or after 30 days cooling period ended... As for me, I port in my main number and get 4 "dummy" SIM. Using dual SIM phone is a pleasure ride... of course need to ensure both SIM slots support Band 5, 38 & 40...SIM 1 the main line and SIM 2 the dummy line(s)... after SIM 1 finish 20GB, will continue to activate 20GB under SIM 2... the cycle continues until all 20GB for all 5 SIMs finish... after that only will port out back to "other" "attractive" telco... For those who port in to Unifi-M, ensure to call all the banks for them to reset TAC code generator to your number... This post has been edited by azhar75: Jan 30 2018, 07:21 AM |

No need to susah-susah call IDD... just call Dominos Pizza hotline (1300-888-333) or any other special number will do... just call for 10 seconds and then disconnect...

My bad... Special numbers are categorised under "add-on" call rate/quota... So, the only way to maximize the validity period is thru IDD as of now... Reload RM10 and make IDD on 89th day cycle...Oh well, I'm not going to keep the SIMs anyway... Once finished, throw away...LOL... |

Oh well, don't throw away the SIMs after finished 20GB complimentary data... there are trick(s) to "re-use" the SIM for "other" purposes...

Tips:
All SIMs comes with "empty" mobile number in the 128K chip. Some smartphones can "save" the mobile number into the 128K chip. If one needs to keep many SIMs, one should "save" the number for individual SIM so that doesn't mix up when switching SIM. Very handy when trying to login to the mobile@unifi app... |

Please use https://www.frequencycheck.com/ to verify which smartphone supports Band 5, 38 and 40. Xiaomi product series are very tricky and ensure you have Snapdragon series rather than MediaTek chipset.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Feb 5 2018, 09:11 AM) actually what's the point you download heavy with 8th sim and 12 to go? I'm "helping" the marketing team to reach its 1Million goal before 31st March... LOL... still persuading my friends and family to "borrow" their myKad to register ...can't you just use the unifi or any unlimited plan to download heavy stuff? this plan is for ppl who seldom use the call/sms/data when they are away and no need to reload so frequently to keep the line... My "rental" Unifi at home is working 24/7 non-stop too... this free 20GB is when I'm out and about...also, once finished 20GB, using the numbers for "other" "tricks" ...
