QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jan 26 2018, 05:48 PM) I already collected the sim card and the TM guy told me no active days shown but you can check based on 90 days from the history, there are reload, add on and pay per use. the app u using is mobile@unifi rite? the sms will come after u key in ur phone number? This will end the 90 days speculation~ |

My initial perception is that being on Band 5 eats my phone battery faster than being on Bands 7/3/8. No Band 38/40 in my area.
Maybe Unifi signal being quite weak (1-2 bars on lower floor) in my home area is a factor. |

QUOTE(yeeyon90 @ Jan 26 2018, 07:09 PM) Yes, after u click first time login and key in the number it will send the sms for u to key in the verification code.If u don't receive immediately, switch to airplane mode then back on and it should be able to come in. 2 of my sim cards need to do like that in order to receive the sms. |

Got 4G in Miri, better than UMobile. I think this sim is seriously good as a 2nd no. since the price to pay for data usage is so expensive after the free amount of data.

QUOTE(iamoracle @ Jan 26 2018, 03:00 PM) "We reached out to someone at TM for clarification on what it takes to keep your line active. He told us that all you’ll need is to do one of the following to reset the entire 90 days cycle: Wow! My hope is up 1. Make 1 outgoing phone call, or 2. Send 1 outgoing SMS, or 3. Browse for 1MB, or 4. Reload any amount between RM10, 30, 50, 100, or 5. Purchase any of our data or voice and SMS passes So technically, if you have 20GB of LTE data, your line can be active for 20 months without needing a top-up if you only use 1GB/month. Alternatively, your line could last 40 months if you use 500MB/month." for pickup at TMPoint, they used a very stupid method to capture the MyKad information... Scan the IC with back camera... Some people unable to collect the sim card due to unable to scan the details on the IC with the "back camera"... i thought there is device to insert into 3.5mm and insert our IC to verify the thumbprint right? why use back camera to scan? just snap a photo or photocopy enough la... y so hassle... ask people go exchange IC then only can scan again... genius...
