For those taking 5 lines in one registration session, can you check if the first line registration is the principle line and the subsequent 4 lines are the supp lines ?
Need to clarify this as it may lead to complications when I want to MNP only one line to other Telco in the future.

you ned to know most of the customer service (even other place) are dumb and they just follow with what they know.
please read the TnC and you will get the information that 3 criterias to stay active within 90 days.
chargeable activity is one of them.

information from mouth is not 100% but TnC is black n white written.
*
I trusted the tnc too. Actually, extending validity period by chargeable usage is nothing new. The first Telco started this feature was Friendi about 2 to 3 years ago where any chargeable usage will extend validity for 2 months but Friendi ended this feature recently.

this is not postpaid and the login in the apps is individually, not the same account just like others prepaid
*
Make sense.
I asked because I saw the word Principal Line on the screen after the selected number.

What's the point of having a principal line in this case?

Is there a special call rate between all the cards under a person's name?

Unifi seems to treat each SIM a separate login account.
*
Please refer to the above replies by other poster, there is no principal/supplementary line in prepaid in Malaysia yet.

But we never know, TM can introduce principal/supplementary into Unifi mobile prepaid by giving perks like cheaper call rate between the lines, sharing of quota and etc in the future to make it difficult for users to port out number individually.

to be safe, better make one chargeable call such as IDD call will definitely safer than use the add on or freebie

Can I make calls and send SMS to International numbers with the new unifi mobile #BEBAS?
Definitely yes! The charges will be deducted from your account balance using Pay As You Use (PAYU) basis.

For IDD call/sms, can use PAYU, for domestic call/sms can not use PAYU, very weird.

ported from friendi (umobile mvno ). no confirmation sms from friendi.

around 7.30pm, friendi simcard “no service” and swap with unifi mobile sim.

call in & out no problem, sms in &out no problem. use data no problem..

the problem cannot get verification sms for “first time login” in the app..
*
Me ported from Friendi too. Same problem as you. Unifi Line had been activated but can't get verification sms for “first time login” in the app.

I asked TM Point how many SIM given out today, she said about 500 sims. I guess every one wack 5 sims each ID.

Going to switch my U28 to prepaid and reload RM2 every 61 days just to remain the number for people to call me, I will use one of the unifi number to top up more for call n sms add on and use it frequently but yet no need to waste call/sms/data while I'm offshore or overseas~ thanks unifi for this great plan~
*
Mind sharing where did you buy the RM2 topup? I got 2 UM numbers to maintain too, lowest reload denomination I can find is RM5.

What if there is still unutilized balance and no necessity to reload – this makes the line inactive? What about making calls?

Yes, making any calls, sending SMS or browsing will keep your line active. The idea is to encourage reload.

I can't brain this FAQ. So much contradiction.

actual question is : hey TM , can i take advantage of freebies and not reload ?

TM answer : yeah sure use it will keep ur line valid but its not going to last forever
of course there will be ppl who just want to keep line active , so they will use that data abit by abit slowly but there will ppl will be using daily . give and take. they want prepaid mobile share in market .
*
So, Your understanding from the above FAQ is "making any calls, sending SMS or browsing will keep your line active" ?

For more precise TnC, I copy paste from the TnC from Unifi website as follows:

4. VALIDITY PERIOD
The SIM Card will remain valid for as long as either one or all of the following activity is carried out;

I. Reload your Account
II. Purchase any Add-Ons
III. Perform any chargeable activity in the form of Call/SMS/usage of Data

Should you fail to do either one or all of the above within a period of ninety (90) days, the SIM Card will become inactive and the Service will be Terminated. The Mobile Number will be released to the general pool of numbers. You will not be able to get back the same Mobile Number.

in another word, when I purchase 8GB data with RM50, it will reset to 90 days of validity. When I use 1MB from that 8GB, it will reset to 90 days of validity again?
I read all 30+ post here and people keep mentioning different info and says it is from Unifi official sources.
*
Two different TM point staff told me as long as you make call or sms, the validity will be extended 90days. However, the call center officer told me usage from add on doesn't count. Then just yesterday, unifi FB team replied me this:-
"Hello! 😁 Yes, the call that you used from the "Add-Ons", will be counted as chargeable usage. Thank you. 😁"

Even Unifi frontline people also gave conflicting statements. So, it's better to track this topic and wait for the true answer from the actual user who tested the system.

Since there is still no pay-per-use service for calls and SMS for Unifi Mobile, I guess we can’t extend the validity period for another 90 days by making call as we can only make call using the pass add-on for calls and SMS ? Can anyone please confirm ?
*
The preloaded freebies will not be countered as chargeable usage for sure, thus one must make a min Rm10 reload before the end of first 90days active period to extend for second 90days. At the end of 180 days, buy a RM10 call/sms add on and extend validity for the 3rd 90days and this is the period where you can test the system and verify the validity period policy by making a call or sms from the add on.
Btw, if you follow unifi FB page, Unifi answered this frequently asked question repetitively that call and sms made from the add on are considered as chargeable usage and will reset the validity for another 90days.
Therefore, there is no hurry to find out the definition of chargeable usage as of now, you'll have a total of 270 days to find out later. By then, I believe this thread will have the answer.

currently is there any way to check the balance validity period?

No way. I think if this product is marketed as #kredittakmati, then it will be irony to have an expiry date for the credit.

why some purposely buy modem or mifi to use the 20gb? isn't it a one off thing

I wonder too. The subsequent data purchase is prohibitively expensive. But it's definitely good for super lite users.
