I've booked ANA to Tokyo at RM1175 before. Airasia to Japan (Sapporo excluded since I'm not sure) anything above RM1k is expensive if you ask me.

I bought my flight tickets and want to buy seats (select my seats) now.
I understand can do it via Manage my booking.
Will there be any extra charges if I pay by credit card?
*
Nope. The additional charges is only charged once. If you use bank transfer to pay your ticket, the add ons you can use card without extra charges.

My flight to Taipei can check in begin 2days ago which was on Thurs, today I only remember.  Shocked to see all the seat fully taken except those rm150. Been assigned to near the end (tail).

What the condition like? Suppose near window 3seats, but the pic shown one gap between two seats. Seat no from row 47  to 50.
*
I actually prefer those seats. Those are 2 seaters instead of 3 seaters.

Some ppl even purposely buy those seats.

QUOTE(Zeliard @ Oct 11 2016, 12:32 PM)
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm not a frequent flyer so this is rather new to me. I'm still awaiting an email reply from air asia, which I doubt it will come anytime soon.

Regarding check in baggage, how many can I check in?
I purchased a 20kg weight.

1. Can I put multiple luggages as long as the weight does not exceed 20kg? Or it has to be a single luggage.

2. Is it safe to transport a TV?

3. If I check it my 10kg TV, can I also check in other things to fill up to 20kg??
*
1. Yes.

2. I've heard of friends doing computer monitors before but there's always the risk. It's probably easier to just buy it from wherever you will be at. Otherwise, make sure you protect it properly. Even tagged fragile also the bag/box comes out kemek most of the time.

3. Yes.

What was the lowest fare you gotten to Japan?
*
You can probably get around RM650-700+ to Japan but that's not including food, luggage, seats, etc.

Recently I decided to go with ANA when they had promotion, RM1.1k+ all included to Tokyo.

Your travel dates are in October 2017, still got some time to watch out for their big sales.

Airasia x has been sending me emails to upgrade to flat bed via optiontown, but it always show upgrade not available.
*
I usually just send all those email to trash lol. It's so annoying that they keep sending so many of this for each of my bookings.

Anyone requested for refund for airport tax after decided not to fly?
*
A long time ago, yes. Took them some time to refund but they did.

I'm also requesting for airport tax refund again today for my recent trip. Flight was on 22/10 and return 30/10. Today just submitted the e-Form. Let's see how long it'll take for them to get back to me.

actually the promo price are all at Jan 2018 where its not school holiday and calendar not set laugh.gif

my relative all aim oct to nov...and complain no cheap tix..of course lah
*
Got la, just not during peak seasons.
I bought my BKK return for RM270 or so for July 2017. KL-BKK was RM89 as advertised.
My Auckland 1 way also in July 2017, was RM549 per person. Advertised RM449 but had to fly during that time no choice la haha. Still very much cheap, even add in hot seat and extra luggage weight.

QUOTE(straw @ Nov 14 2016, 04:10 PM)
This time just log in AA website can book promo ticket.
It seem their promo ticket open to 5 seats only.

Suppose choose Nov 2nd week. After I ask my sibling 1 or 2 seats taken.

Any idea for AA ... why this time Taipei ticket can get below RM500. Cheap Airport tax?
My last trip on Sept to Taipei just less than rm400. This time rm427.
*
You can see the break down of the price you paid in your itinerary.
e.g.
Flight
2x Guests 804.16 MYR
klia2 fee 6.00 MYR
Passenger Service Charge 64.00 MYR
Arrival Tax 110.00 MYR
BCL 110.00 MYR
GST 3.84 MYR
Subtotal 1098.00 MYR
Then you see where is less/more lor.

QUOTE(sickx @ Nov 16 2016, 02:46 PM)

I dunno how I can have 2 bookings for 2 different date here. I think I've cancelled one of them while browsing before this but it still showing. how can I cancel the one that I don't want?
*
If no payment received on their side, it'll be cancelled automatically.

and just wondering if 2 ppl both have different booking number can they be seated together without picking a seat?

If I recall correctly around rm600+

Possible if you web check in at the same time. But sometimes no also. Just check in one person then the next person buy seats.

QUOTE(Colada @ Nov 22 2016, 02:15 PM)
I'm trying to book a flight to Hong Kong and I found a suitable fare/flight time on the Air Asia website. I worked my way through all the pages and got to the payment page. There's a 'Security Feature' (?) there which tells you to 'type in the moving characters in the box' into another box. Problem is - the box where the 'moving characters' are supposed to appear is BLANK.
OK, its obviously a FLASH problem, perhaps the version is out of date on my FireFox Browser. So I switch to Internet Explorer. Go through the whole process again, get to the payment page - the 'Moving Character' box is now 'moving', but all that is visible is red 'snow'! No 'characters'.  bangwall.gif

OK, lets try my iPad - thats right up to date.
I go through the whole process a 3rd time, get to the payment page - RED SNOW!

At that point I gave up and booked with MAS.

I have no idea why this dumb 'Security Feature' is necessary when no other airline seems to use it. But it is costing Air Asia bookings. They may claim in their defence that you should have an up to date browser blah blah blah....but I've tried 3 browsers, on two different platforms, and none worked. If Air Asia want to make it impossible for customers to use their airline they are sure going about it the right way!

FIX THIS AIR ASIA.
*
I've not experience such "Security Feature" while booking my Airasia flights all these while. You sure you were booking on Airasia website?

My latest booking was during their latest promo last week or so. Still no such thing. I book flights pretty much every month or every other month.

Anyone knows if we can bring shaver and hair dryer in carry on luggage for flight to Singapore? Thanks!

Hair dryer shouldn't be a problem. Blade shaver might be.
Electric shaver most likely no problem also.
