baggage yes u can choose when filling in the information. so the price might increase from what u see at first.

as for seat selection, nope they never commit that the pax will be seating together since u never get to select seat. u will only know upon check in..

Let's say I bought the air tix only from expedia. Is there any other way to buy the seat? Can it be bought thru airasia.com using PNR No. given by expedia? Means that I looged into airasia.com and they already have our booking record with expedia, then I just buy the the seat from there.

If seats in the same booking#, checking in early has better chance of getting adjacent seats.

That's budget flying for us. Sitting together is considered a luxury and hence you gotta pay for it.

Same booking number. If different, I can understand.

If the plane is full, I can understand. But the feeling I get is, purposely giving me non-adjacent seats

hi guys, would like to seek your opinion. Has anyone of u successfully got the refund from air asia since the time is rescheduled. I received the email from them to give me options:

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, and would like to offer you the following service recovery options

1. Move flight: Change to a new travel date on the same route within 6 months from original flight date without additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR

2. Credit Account: Retain the value of your fare in a credit account for your future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issue; OR

3. Refund: Obtain a full refund in the amount equivalent to your booking .

For me i would prefer option 3 full refund but how long does it takes? or perhaps option 2 should be the better one if faster since im going travel 5x or 6x per year anyway lol

If you have bought heavily discounted ticket, better to consider changing to a new date. Buying a new ticket is likely to cost a lot more.
