hi guys, would like to seek your opinion. Has anyone of u successfully got the refund from air asia since the time is rescheduled. I received the email from them to give me options:

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, and would like to offer you the following service recovery options

1. Move flight: Change to a new travel date on the same route within 6 months from original flight date without additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR

2. Credit Account: Retain the value of your fare in a credit account for your future travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 90 calendar days from the date of issue; OR

3. Refund: Obtain a full refund in the amount equivalent to your booking .

For me i would prefer option 3 full refund but how long does it takes? or perhaps option 2 should be the better one if faster since im going travel 5x or 6x per year anyway lol

What cause the refund? Is it because AA cancel/change the flight or you change the plan?
If you change your plan, there's no refund for the ticket. You can request refund for airport tax by google the AA online form for refund ...

Its my change of plan and i would like to get refund for tax

Received flights cancellation via email as expected and i moved the flights to peak dates (public holiday) which make the purchase worth as usually public holiday tickets are more expensive. Besides this can elongate the validity if got cancelled we can choose to reschedule (possible more than 1 time?) again or just refund credit will do.

if not thn just discard it
