How you get this speed? For my 1MB line, I only can reach average 40kbps with Xunlei, anything wrong?
*
im using 1mb package also..i didnt change anything..all is default config..maybe it depends on number of seeder..but in 3 month im using XUNLEI,its never disappoint me..even when im using maxis broadband..

try monitoring your connection. have a command window open and ping google. if u have a router as well, go ping it and monitor.

actually I have a similiar problem, after awhile the download will drop to very low speed, like 5-6KB/s and I have to stop and resume the download to get the highest speed again

I used packet shaping software such as CFospeed to "tame" down Xunlei. Work well for me..surfing and gaming very smooth for me.

did anyone in here compare the BitComet and Xunlei here??

the special feature of Xunlei is P2SP which have boost the speed
but now BitComet also have this feature......
*
ditched bit comet, can't really move good example heroes and prison break, using bitcomet bellow 10kb/s, throw to xunlei getting 100kb/s and above constant.

QUOTE(MX510 @ Jul 23 2007, 08:30 AM)
Just curious how fast u can go with this?
*
i can reach up to 200kb/s in some torrents with very high seeds, i.e naruto/bleach

QUOTE(adccs @ Jul 27 2007, 10:34 AM)
1st time also I got super speed for most of the bt file .....
now  doh.gif  most of it at 0.00% icon_question.gif
*
depends on the seeds

QUOTE(FrozenPrince @ Jul 28 2007, 01:16 AM)
how to do portforwarding to xunlei? which figure(portnumber) should i use? TCP or UDP???
*
you can set the tcp, udp in xunlei and when you port forward, just foward to the number you set.

no need setting...just install and use. U will notice your surfing and gaming improve IF previously xunlei make them sluggish

cause torrent is a damn good application. its fast and its handy. and correction, the government announced that they will crackdown the downloadin of all copyrighted materials. can still use it to download distros and other self written public released applications.

Nearly all households with 'proper' broadband are doing this.
Just easy said, how many households do not have pirated VCD, DVD?
Do you expect the government to track down all households?
I bet the jail will be full and there will be no traffic jam.

Save electricity, water, petrol because we are staying at jail.
Cool enough?

No offense but who is not using pirated?
It's just the same like things made in china.
