Hmm?
You mean after tftping the US Beta firmware, then still can't tfpting back to EU beta firmware? hmm.gif

In that case, for you to regain those eight 5ghz channels back = you gotta go through the hard way, gain root access (terminal stuff) and modify the country region. I think I posted about it before.

Nope. I don't try it.

I was using root method to change 5ghz wifi region to US (with 36-48,149-165 channels, US tx power is higher) and 2.4ghz wifi region to MY (channel 1 - 13) on EU firmware.

edit: WAIT A MINUTE HERE.......what do you mean by 4 5ghz channel on US firmware? confused.gif Only EU firmware has lowest amount of 5Ghz channel [36-48].

He is asking about WDS.......US firmware has WDS hidden as well after all. blink.gif

EDIT :

Sigh...let me provide the US V1 Beta firmware and see if users can "reflash" back to EU firmware......

[attachmentid=10331439]

Summoning xjoshualaw29, Aspick and MrSpeedy.........you guys asked for the US V1 Beta firmware too....so here it is....
*
I flashed to the US V1 Beta firmware, then factory restored and tried to flash to EU firmware. It got stuck with a message something like "Upgrade not possible". bangwall.gif

I even tried from US V1 Beta firmware flash to EU Beta firmware Build 20180101 rel.66049(Beta). Not successful with same message above.

Conclusion : BEWARE! ONCE YOU FLASHED TO US FIRMWARE, THERE IS NO WAY TO GET BACK TO EU FIRMWARE

Well that's a bummer.
Wish the US firmware does not have LED bug or turn it off completely.
It really triggers my OCD.

You can turn the router with its led lights away from your line of sight or use something solid to cover the led lights like black tape. 😅

No sacrifice at all. By flashing to US firmware, it solved my wifi issue. I had wanted strong 5Ghz wifi thru out upper floor of my 2 sty house. The 5Ghz wifi from my main router at grd flr living room unable to reach the 1st flr back rooms.

I am wondering what is different between TM Unifi firmware, TIME Fiber Firmware and the International Firmware?

Does the UI look completely different?
How about the setting available inside the Router? is it also different?
Most importantly that I really hope anyone can help to share, does the admin and user login account is completely different between TM, TIME and International Firmware?

My unit currently is EU firmware. I cannot flash for TM and TIME firmware anymore. So looking forward if anybody could share.

Thank you.

hmmm i know it said that can't flash back but from what i found in the tftp log viewer... it stated that it has 2 recovery files. One is EU and the other is US. Now the thing is how to remove the US... the code snippet is as below.

CODE

Connection received from 192.168.0.86 on port 4575 [12/12 08:32:57.472]
Read request for file <ArcherC1200v1_eu_tp_recovery.bin>. Mode octet [12/12 08:32:57.473]
File <ArcherC1200v1_eu_tp_recovery.bin> : error 2 in system call CreateFile The system cannot find the file specified. [12/12 08:32:57.474]
Connection received from 192.168.0.86 on port 3858 [12/12 08:33:02.232]
Read request for file <ArcherC1200v1_us_tp_recovery.bin>. Mode octet [12/12 08:33:02.234]

You better stay in EU firmware because the Malaysia firmware is comes with "@unifi" at the behind of your wifi SSID. Makes me looks so dissatisfying.
Mine was successfully flashed to EU firmware too. Malaysia firmware is looks older and ugly. The EU firmware looks more beautiful and newer interface.

Two places :

Advanced --> Network --> Internet --> Advanced --> DNS Address

Advanced --> Network --> DHCP Server --> Primary & Secondary DNS

hmm.gif Now that is strange.
Perhaps you have setup static DNS at your device?

Or ipconfig /flushdns is required?

Is the Connectivity to Resolver IP Addresses section displaying 'yes' on 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.01?

EDIT:
Are you using any form of proxy server on your web browsers? Which browser? Chrome or Firefox?

How do I enable 5GHz TXBF again?
I'm on TIME btw, 1.0.0 Build 20180502 rel.45702 (EU)
I thought its the EU version since it says so, but I can't find the TXBF option
Should I install https://www87.zippyshare.com/v/FkAyTZ7j/file.html from your EDIT 7 OP?

Maybe you should check if your PC is using a custom DNS or auto-getting it from the router.
Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre > Change Adapter Settings (Left column) >Right-click your wifi or ethernet thing > properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4) > Select properties.
Is it set to auto obtain a dns or does it have its field filled out already by using the following dns in the input field.
