This took less time than expected – Xiaomi is pushing out a new version of the Oreo update for the Mi A1. That update was pulled on Friday after the discovery of several nasty bugs.
The new update reportedly resolves the Bluetooth battery drain, random reboots and other issues, it also restores the gesture functionality of the fingerprint reader. Also included in this update is the January security patch. The original update packed the December patch. If you already installed the defective update, the new version is a small 89MB download. If you’re still on Nougat, then it’s a more substantial 1,112MB update. |

QUOTE(seanooi880327 @ Jan 16 2018, 04:22 PM) hi all A1 users, I would advice to get FX File Manager. For Launcher customisation go for Nova Launcher, if you like Nova Launcher then go for Prime, but I would advice you to get Prime during sales, it's known to sales at RM 1. Usually Christmas time.I just got my phone today.. Would like to know, what's the good file manager apps to install and other good apps to install to this phone to ease our usage? Whatever you bought in Google Store, the paid app will stick to the Google accounts, forever. Even when you switch to another Android phone with Google Play. |

If you are on Android Oreo; for simple file management, u can just use Files (stock app which is pre-installed). Calc app also is already pre-installed. i believe you are still in Nougat. might just wait as Oreo update might be available again any time soon.I just got my phone today.. Yeah, my thoughts exactly, would rather wait than try to force it Which specific app hangs? Mine seems OK. |

Hi all, I'm looking between the Redmi Note 4 and the Mi A1, not sure which one is better.
The Note 4 has the Dual Apps and Second Space feature, which will be useful to me in my line of work, while the A1 runs on stock android, which seems to be less bloated and is better supported. So, does the Mi A1 have any easy ways to do what the MIUI can do in terms of Dual Apps and Second Space? Is the Mi A1's higher price against the Note 4 justified? Is it really that buggy? Thanks. |
