QUOTE(attw @ Jun 22 2018, 11:26 AM) That's quite bad, to be honest. When you got the phone back, was it resetted back to factory settings? Apart from that, has there been an improvement in the performance? Yes phone was resetted back to factory settings when received. I think only slightly if no improvement at all in the performance.

I got 1 of my ip6 battery replaced at QCD Times Square KL. It took them 1 hr to complete the job. Before they accept the phone, they update the firmware to the latest version & restore to factory settings. Do take note "Please backup your phone data before send in for the battery replacement". 14th May 2018, Total damage: RM121.70 + GST 7.30

Maybe iOS 12 will help then. This post has been edited by attw: Jun 23 2018, 09:40 AM

Just wondering, since all eagerly wanted to change with the lowering price Got to call the held desk center. They show me this instead: https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6s-unexpectedshutdown/To check whether your phone is eligible for the battery replacement. Apparently, mine serial no. wasn't in the battery changed list. Case close

If you're not eligible for the free one then just pay RM121 for a new battery.

QUOTE(lyc1982 @ Jul 2 2018, 01:08 PM) after tempering your screen (or any hardware), you can still send in to Apple for replacement...but not for rm121 If your iPhone has been opened by outside shops, sometimes they won't want to touch your phone even you pay full price for the repairs. They are worried that outside shops spoilt something and after you send in to Apple for repairs, you blame them for spoiling their phone.
