I thought they mentioned the program is for all iPhones 6 and above?
*
Does it cover iPhone SE? Since iPhone SE is after iPhone 6.

Should be. Taken from Switch's website: -

Can I change my iPhone 5s (or earlier) battery under this program too?

I’m sorry, the repair program is applicable for selected iPhone models, which are iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later only. If you require service for your iPhone 5S (or earlier), kindly visit our service centres for more info.

Thanks.

No problem. Gonna get yours changed?
*
No. Just curious why the SE was not mentioned publicly.

Did you update to IOS 11.4?
If YES, it will take a few days to be back to normal.

after tempering your screen (or any hardware), you can still send in to Apple for replacement...but not for rm121
*
If your iPhone has been opened by outside shops, sometimes they won't want to touch your phone even you pay full price for the repairs.
They are worried that outside shops spoilt something and after you send in to Apple for repairs, you blame them for spoiling their phone.

Worry that when go to change battery in December, they say "no more stock", have to wait until January 2019. Then regret didn't get it changed earlier.

Yeah, they did a full format of my phone, which I actually see no point, my screen protector & home button was gone too.
*
What do you mean by “my screen protector & home button was gone too”?
Are you sure they did not change another iPhone for you?

Very sure it is my phone. Perhaps u havent changed ur batt before? They have a disclaimer in the service centre that they will remove all accessories like screen protector.
*
Which service centre did you change your iPhone battery?
You are right that I have never change my iPhone battery before.
I read that some service centres did not reset the iPhone when sent in for battery change.

I still don't quite get it why is it that they have to peel off the screen protector?
*
They use the suction cup on the screen when they open the iPhone.

Anyone change in Mac city before? The branch in setapak central?

I went to inquire they say can accept during weekdays, send in the morning, collect at 7pm. No need format phone.

Sounds too good to be true but I worry it's not original battery.
*
IOS 12.1 can detect the battery is genuine or not.

Got my ip6 battery replaced at third party center. Took about 30 mins, RM180 with 90 day warranty and iOS 12.1 is happily running fine on the phone now.
*
Does the IOS 12.1 battery check your new battery as genuine battery?

Doesn’t apply to ip6, at least that’s what the changelog stated.

My bad. I thought it applies to all iPhones.
