QUOTE(attw @ Feb 13 2018, 02:43 PM) Yes, RM199. More expensive but less of a hassle.QUOTE(HippyTony @ Feb 13 2018, 03:29 PM) Sorry to be a bother. I’m trying to figure out where you had your iPhone battery changed in 1U. I seem to have missed some info here. May I know where in 1U you had the iPhone battery changed? Thanks. Its called Dr. iDevice or something. Basically if you are at New Wing, go down the escalator in front of the usual stage area and its right there. This post has been edited by akachester: Feb 23 2018, 02:06 PM |

Well, honestly at this point its abit of a risk whenever you send it to a non-authorized center. They have a small little machine that can check the battery information etc that claims its ori bla bla bla but i have no common knowledge on how accurate / trustable that is. What i rely on is their reputation and also their word guarantee that if i found out its not original they will change it for me again and pretty much at that. 😂 Honestly when i was there, they do look pretty genuine in term of service and honesty 😂 This post has been edited by akachester: Feb 25 2018, 12:18 PM |

Hassle free and immediate.QUOTE(Mackiddo @ Feb 25 2018, 12:45 PM) Well, i aint no expert when it comes to these original stuffs so yes, you could be right. I also have no idea where their source is as well. Personally, the new battery had been really good thus far. I am likely on it for a couple of months now as compared to my dying old battery. |

Does apply make sure the phone is still water resistant when the battery is changed? Does third party seal back the water resistant as well?

If you change it at an authorized service centre then I believe they must ensure that your phone's ingress protection remains intact. Of course, if you change the battery at a third party outlet then all bets are off. |

I think the ingress protection is important. It maintain the water protection rating on the phone. |
