yup, but err i dont think MGS4 will be on the Microsoft platform tho. I remember reading about it somewhere that it will be exclusive for ps3. We'll see..
*
There were rumours on gamespot that it might turn to the dark (microsoft-y) side of the force... Hoping that it's true...

Hey guys, is it just me, or is Dell selling the Razer Diamondback at RM20++ cheaper then market price? Lowyat's selling at around RM160+-, even in the garage section around that price... Dell's selling 'em for RM139, and no shipping costs are indicated... rclxub.gif

Granted, they're only selling 'em in one colour, Magma Red... Gotta check with my SA... icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh i hope that is not true. It wont be fun anymore because if you have and play all the series, you must be loyal to the platform that supports it from past till now on.

p/s: im not against the 360 as i do play some games on xbox and 360 so..

Sadly nowadays, it's all about the money... Haha... It's not that I don't like the PS3, but I'm hoping its true simply because I can't afford a PS3... icon_rolleyes.gif

Just make it come out on the PS3 a few years before on the 360... Then they'll appease both camps... I think anyway... whistling.gif

Huh? One day only, I miss so many posts.. XD

On my soon-to-be uni, well.. I won't divulge, let it be a guessing game. ;P

I have my wifi on 24/7 but I only have the humming sound when my laptop gets too hot. Once when I was using my laptop while skyping, my friends commented that the humming noise sounded like having a big lorry in the background sweat.gif

Will be parting with my laptop most prob later. Dell technician will be coming over to diagnose the problems with my laptop and maybe send it back to Penang factory.

Bought it August/September last year and never upgrade it to Vista, so still sticking to my XP for the moment.

I really cant tell what the humming sound all about. Is it more like a very fast spinning sound coming from fans? That is normal for a lappy if that is the case. All laptops with any brand (especially hp) have fans that will spin faster if gpu and cpu get hotter. So the faster it spins, the more noise it makes, I guess. Clean the dust like i mentioned earlier.

does that mean...Vista got no options to use either windows or Intelpro wifi?...
so...whats in the system that included in?

Well, what I mean is, stick with the windows system... The Intel proset (like most other manufacturer included software) seems to zone out more then the one built into Windows... icon_rolleyes.gif

Like I stick with the Windows Network and Sharing Center (that's what they call the entire wired and wireless network control panel - which they combined in Vista), and use the Windows wireless config system in XP (in the other lappy) rather then the software Belkin supplied with their PCMCIA Wireless G card... thumbup.gif

How to format eh... Hmmm... Give me some time to think out a step by step... icon_rolleyes.gif

But derred might beat me to it... brows.gif

Added on June 5, 2007, 12:31 pmActually, I just formatted my bro's broken Acer (left side hinge totally busted, years past the warranty already, but still usable), so I think I can write an XP one to in addition to a Vista format guide... Just give me some time yah...

Im more than happy to help guys, but sorry i have alot of things that due from tomorrow till like the end of this week. U prob see me ON but i just leave my tab like that so sorry if u guys were waiting on me.. I'll catch up by the end of this week.

@unknowndevice,

format is very easy. U can learn by watching or having someone who knows how to do it by ur side. Better option, by heart. haha. For this one there are plenty manuals given to us by the computer manufacturers themselves. Manual explains far far more better than I am. My only advice is, dont get addicted to it. Some ppl format every week or month. It's bad if ur such a busy person. I would recommend to use the System Restore rather than format the whole thing. Everytime u install something important like after a clean format with all drivers installed and the pc works like charm, create a restoration point. It will saves u alot of headaches trust me, and time too.

@Eiraku,

ill figure out the google thingy myself i guess. Im too busy for that now. I'll ask u if i dont understand anything.

Erk... No idea... A quick google reveals nothing, except for a few obscure references to Pentium 4 processors (Pentium 4 640T 3.2Ghz), nothing at all to do with network adapters... rclxub.gif

As it's not working properly anyway, try disabling it and restarting the M1210? See what happens... If a few boots go by without anything going wrong, I think you can safely un-install the device... icon_rolleyes.gif

sweat.gif I made a typo in my post.It's 6T04 adapter, not 640T.

I googled and it looks like it has smth to do with internet protocols.ipv6 or something.

Oh well, I'll just leave it there.

"Trade" ???

Anyway, DELL technician came over to collect my laptop this morning. Now using my dad's laptop. Dad will be leaving tomorrow, so no lappy for me for 4 days. cry.gif

Will post when I get my laptop back from DELL. Turned out they just send it to a PJ DELL centre for testing, they won't be sending it back to Penang yet.
