I not test with Logitech mouse and keyboard, but I tested air mouse with 6800x, it work flawlessly! That really good to have TV remote, mouse and keyboard all in 1.

I using Redmi Note 4X, MIUI have a problem to cast video on the TV, but mobile youtube work fine. No issues to cast more than 2 mins.

Any owner can share their experience using an air mouse with this TV? Any particular brand or feature of air mouse u would recommend?

my tv just went kaput a couple of hours ago. just wont turn on. looking to buy a 55/60" one and based on this whole thread looks like this is a good buy.

Where do you guys suggest I get one? from what I see ESH would be the best option?

It can record the keys of your TV remote, use as air mouse, and turn to another side as keyboard. Quite handy.

Any suggestion on the gamepad (for playing games obviously) for this android tv? Would the PS4 or XBox gamepad work?

I bought from Taobao long time back, that time the price is around RM43. Brand model is MX3-M, price now should be cheaper and you should able to get it from local platform like Lazada, Shopee etc.

The TV is delivered! Currently enjoying the bigger than life image! Frankly it is not impressive as OLED but that will be comparing it to a higher class!

The acid test will be the live telecast of football later!

I got iptv and also the option of setting up Astro on the go. Which will give better experience?

Tried a few apps... the best one is acestream media app + reddit soccerstreams. Many using it:

This app works but is clumsy to use on androidtv.

The other apps are either not 1080p or less reliable.
Astrogo is not even 720p for these live matches.

The internal player of my ue630x tv is not as good as my box... i use the box.
The tv is capable of delivering great pictures... if the source is good.

Was interested to know if u find yr new tv player is good enough and using which androidtv app.

pvateme, my Sony Xperia couldn't direct Chrome cast for more than 2mins. However, it's ok to cast from youtube & other mobile programs. tantw couldn't do it with his Redmi & MIUI also so it's safe to conclude direct Chrome casting is unstable
tantw, I'm unsure about air mouse being user-friendly vs regular mouse but my Logitech keyboard isn't handy dandy
Pre-installed Digital Freeview is clear to watch WC but many lost their bets. If what-is-Belgium wins then it really sucks

Guys, I need your help. I couldn't even run YouTube and cast onto my TV. It prompt "there was a problem connecting to aquos-xxxx". Is there any setting should I do before connecting?

Thank for confirmation for chronmecast. Pertaining to air-mouse, no doubt the conventional mouse is easier to use if you used to it, especially the mouse come with scrolling button to scroll up/down the contents. Advantages of air-mouse is remote-keyboard-mouse- all in one. My air-mouse model also come with voice input, but I couldn't make it works. Need more try and errors.

Let me share my experiences / testing results on casting.

Test 1: Samsung S7E to Sharp TV
- Under Google home, played youtube for > 5min.
- Tried using Samsung's SmartView, but couldnt get connected.

Test 2: Samsung S8 to Sharp TV
- Under Google home, played youtube for > 5min.
- Used Samsung's SmartView, play youtube, myklik for > 5min (Astro Go give black screen, in which i think it is the app that stop the casting).

Didnt try casting without internet.

LG UJ630 series kinda sucked. I owned the 49" one and keep having problems with DD+ audio decoding.

If you don't hook up with receiver, then it's a fine TV. YouTube 4K playback would make the UI laggy though.

EDIT: Looking at LC60UA6800X. Anyone this series with AV receiver/soundbar? Able to output video files with DD+ (E_AC3) codec?
