I pulled the trigger and got LC60UA6800X from Lazada. As I am going to use this for PS4 gaming, I hope it delivers...Priority is 4K and HDR.
Anyone play 4K games on this TV do share your input?

This unit is HDMI-CEC according to user manual, so if your soundbar supports HDMI-CEC, it should work. But each manufacturer have their own implementation of the standard (goes by name like something LINK usually or other names) , so maybe not all function will work but i will assume basic function like volume control should work.

no.

that remote was used with older ue630x, together with another remote.

curren remote has improved to include youtube, netflix buttons and the mic, no need this pad type (which is not good, imo).

My TV arrived liao!

But Skynet being skynet, called me when they are arriving in 10 minutes time. :x Already told them to call me at least 1 day b4. So i have to rush back home to receive the item.

Haven't unpack yet...tonight only unpack. Lots of things to do b4 that...remove old TV, rearrange all the consoles and HTPC to make room for the new TV, reconnect all the cables, clean some dusty places around the TV rack.......urgh....lots of work.

But now i can remove my Android box and maybe even the HTPC and decomission them.

there is an option in settings to set audio to variable (control with tv) or fixed (no control).

but i am not sure if that applies to hdmi arc or earphone jack only.

i only know it does not work for digital output/spdif.

what android box do u have, model... what apps u use mainly?

perhaps i can advise u if it is still good to use as there are diff between androidtv and android.

also, one of the first things to check if it comes with android7 or 8.

if 7, best to update to 8 to get max benefits.

50" i think can lah, Just put behind passengers seat on the floor. If car like City, i think can. I think old Mawi also can, maybe Viva, Saga, Iriz, new Persona maybe got challenge.

Width of TV is 1125mm x711mm (based on actual specs), about 44.29 x 28 inches. If include packing, maybe add 2 extra inches. 46.5 x 30 inches x maybe 5 inches thick. So you measure your car and see. biggrin.gif

==Update==

Opps...yours is 60" model? sweat.gif

60inch is 1355mm x 856mm ....so you try to convert, add 2 inches and see....but i think 60 inch maybe got problem to fit normal sedan.

Frankly, i don't use the Androidbox already eversince MyPadTV can use web browser to watch from PC. Last time use the Android box for some other service which can't use Windows.

Mainly use HTPC for Netflix, web browser k dramas, popcorn time , mypadtv, youtube. As long i can watch all this from the new Android TV, my HTPC can tarpao...but of course, the HTPC still have advantage of Window's fantastic browsing/multitasking which Android can't do. I have a habit of half screen browser and half screen Netflix sometimes (or two browser side by side), but i guess it's not really critical and i can live without it.

based on this, i think u can pretty much use androidtv for most of it.

netflix and youtube are native standalone apps - they work very well.

the rest, sideload shud work.

only popcorntime may be dodgy - androidtv may not allow it to be installed if it detects security risk.

also, popcorntime is using p2p, may accidentally use up too much of the tv storage - this app, i do NOT recommend using on the tv.

asian dramas - rss androidtv and adrama work very well, u can try them.
