Anyone using this with a soundbar? Is it possible to control the soundbar volume from the TV?

Can get the 4tc60al1x for 2930 in PJ. And with the 300 ringgit Petronas card, seems like a good deal, no?

Seems like good deal. The specs looks the same as 6800x ,but this is newer model right?
*
Yup this is the replacement model. That's probably why there's little or no stock of the 60UA6800X everywhere.

Check out Jintex Electronics in Sea Park. They have a website, but easier to call and ask.

hdmi 1, 2 is hdmi 2.0a, 4k hdr, chroma 444; hdmi 3 ,4 are hdmi 2.0 4k sdr chroma 420.

1,2, set to FULL.

that's for ua6800x, shud be same for al1x - do check the e-manual for confirmation.

Ok, I need advice here.

I used to own an LG TV, so screen sharing from my Windows 10 laptop to the TV was pretty much foolproof, and dead easy. Now with my new 4TC60AL1X Android TV, it's not so easy. I'm pretty much stuck. Not talking about casting, I want to use my TV wirelessly as an external display.

Any tips please?

quite simple with chrome browser on laptop since tv has built in chromecast.

on pc... chrome browser, find the "3 dots" at top right, click on it, click cast.

it will search for the tv, activate.

choose desktop or tab.

a window will pop up, share.

that's all.
only thing not good with this method is if u are casting/mirror/sharing a video, it is limited to 720p, audio 2.0.
*
Hmm, I think I tried that, it only seemed to mirror the browser. Lemme try it again.

Buy Xiaomi, rosak, no one gonna service you.

Agreed. I paid nett rm2.7k for a 60 inch uhd android tv, the prices are already quite fantastic!

which one is your choice? im thinking on getting the 45" but the 50" is tempting too  drool.gif

Depending on your budget, the bigger the better. These are UHD sets, the picture resolution and quality are a lot better than FHD sets. I have a 60 inch set, I'm only sitting about 8 feet away, no issues at all!

And if you intend to play around with enjoying UHD (or 4K) video, you want a large screen. 50" or smaller is not good enough.

HI,

currently I am watching 8tv etc from my Hypptv on this model TV. However I found that the resolution is only 1080p stretched to 50 inches so it is really blurry. any fix?
*
Basically Hypptv Everywhere is a rip off in terms of PQ. Much worse than the STB!

the output on the tv, video or audio is bad becos the input is poor.

in addition, the tv player for playback or online streams is an average one, good for convenience and basic streams/playback.

tv makers are not player makers, they focus on the display which is their biz, not the player.
to get the better picture on the tv, u will need a better source, a better player and for audio, a full home theater system.

and yes... this means more $$$.... the tv cannot do what other specialized devices do.
*
Actually I've used both VLC player and Potplayer to play video files from my Windows laptop to my tv thru hdmi, and if the video file is of the right quality, the results are pretty good.
But I suppose if you want a cinematic experience, then you need to invest...
