Can get the 4tc60al1x for 2930 in PJ. And with the 300 ringgit Petronas card, seems like a good deal, no?

Ok, I need advice here.
I used to own an LG TV, so screen sharing from my Windows 10 laptop to the TV was pretty much foolproof, and dead easy. Now with my new 4TC60AL1X Android TV, it's not so easy. I'm pretty much stuck. Not talking about casting, I want to use my TV wirelessly as an external display. Any tips please? This post has been edited by kkm: Apr 24 2019, 10:34 PM |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 24 2019, 10:48 PM) quite simple with chrome browser on laptop since tv has built in chromecast. Hmm, I think I tried that, it only seemed to mirror the browser. Lemme try it again.on pc... chrome browser, find the "3 dots" at top right, click on it, click cast. it will search for the tv, activate. choose desktop or tab. a window will pop up, share. that's all. only thing not good with this method is if u are casting/mirror/sharing a video, it is limited to 720p, audio 2.0. |

QUOTE(tawaubata @ Jul 26 2019, 02:04 AM) Depending on your budget, the bigger the better. These are UHD sets, the picture resolution and quality are a lot better than FHD sets. I have a 60 inch set, I'm only sitting about 8 feet away, no issues at all! |

And if you intend to play around with enjoying UHD (or 4K) video, you want a large screen. 50" or smaller is not good enough. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Feb 3 2020, 04:09 PM) the output on the tv, video or audio is bad becos the input is poor. Actually I've used both VLC player and Potplayer to play video files from my Windows laptop to my tv thru hdmi, and if the video file is of the right quality, the results are pretty good.in addition, the tv player for playback or online streams is an average one, good for convenience and basic streams/playback. tv makers are not player makers, they focus on the display which is their biz, not the player. to get the better picture on the tv, u will need a better source, a better player and for audio, a full home theater system. and yes... this means more $$$.... the tv cannot do what other specialized devices do. But I suppose if you want a cinematic experience, then you need to invest... |
