Rm1-2k tv, no need add warranty or insurance.

Higher value ones, better take.

My last 2 sharp lcd tvs... 1 lasted 7+ years, the other now 8+ yrs, still going.

Tested using my own 4k video through USB. Picture quality is good but not really for very fast motion.

Just like i thought.

4k, hdr10... better buy n use a good box player, for video n audio performance.

Tv makers make good tvs but cant count on them to make good players.

Just bought it last week, seems like WiFi on the TV keep dropping off. Very unstable. Any owner encountered the same? Any tips to share? 😁

i just jumped on the bandwagon yesterday evening. got myself the 60 inches version from Senheng. Indeed the promotion is just too tempting to forgo. a long chat with the branch manager reveal some very interesting insight pertaining to the panel.

1) 4K Ultra HD - AQUOS 4K TVs come with the latest HDR standards. Coupled with SHARP’s high luminance technology, giving you a consistent life-like contrast between light and darkness.

The so called new high lumimance tech is nothing more than being a cheapskate by reducing the 2 layer panel like in the ue630x to only 1 layer panel in the 6800x. Thus backlight being able to penetrate easier giving the impression of brighter panel. Another side effect of reducing the layer also causes the screen inability to render details of images in the background which I also noticed when comparing both side by side. The branch manager also claimed the HDR is poorly implemented but I didn't see any HDR content, so i can't comment on thaat.

2) X4 Master Engine Pro II - The X4 Master Engine Pro II processor allows SD and HD videos to be up-converted to 4K resolution with minimal noise while maintaining image quality.

Again, the details in the image quality is lacking as opposed to ue630x despite claiming being the second generation PQ engine. In terms of motion smoothness, the ue630x is again the clear winner here although both of them also losses significantly when compared to Sony's range even the lowest spec x7000e series. motion smoothness is just Sony's forte here.

3) Real Colour - Improved backlights and colour panels provide wider colour gamut, giving you access to more natural colours. AQUOS TVs are optimized to give you realistic tones with precise colours.

At least the Colours presented are wider and more saturated but not to the extent of over processing feeling.

4) Eilex Prism - Eilex audio technologies provide the foundation of natural, realistic sound for movies, music, and video games.
Yes the sound is better and have more clarity as opposed to ue630x

All in all, this is a very affordable TV at a very great price so much that it is cheaper than their own previous flagship price, the ue630x at RM47xx.xx. Despite the above shortcomings, for the price I'm paying I really can't complain much and it is still good enough for me.

Why not opt for ue630x then?
