if suppose u hv not used an android box before..?

well, some people dun really care if it is smarttv or androidtv - as long as there is youtube and netflix.

i look for more... and i use android boxes a lot.

only with androidtv can u sideload all other apps, just like those in yr android phone or android tablet or android box.

it is nice to have some apps in the tv such that with just the tv on alone, i can have all the good stuff.

not just youtube and netflix but other apps that provide int'l news, int'l tv channels, movies, tv shows - in hd.

androidtv can also take local iptv apps like astrogo, unifi playtv and ilfix.

one can say no need that, use separate box.

to that, i say why not hv both, can use the box somewhere else or for other purpose!

I been using it on ue630x for 2 years, wonderful feature.

I will not buy a new tv without androidtv.

Of course,  u need to know how to use it.

From sharp is 2yrs. Some they buy warranty from sharp n add into price. Tats y u can't get 4799 for 5 yrs warranty

One feature I like about the 6800 vs 6300 is that it can continue to play the screen you are watching while browsing for other selection. Apart from that, it is clearer and has better sound quality.

The SAs has advised to download additional apps like terrarium and kodi to powerup the contents. Is there a forum for apps review for android or sharp? Need to look for sport channels too since World Cup  is coming.

Thinking of pulling the trigger soon at 5299.

What I observe sharp original warranty only 2 yrs.  Senq+1yr from themselves, esh +3yrs from sharp... Esh told me they pay extra for that.

The accountant from ESH or the owner told you that? Or was it the salesman? Can trust the salesman? Most of them don't even know about the products they sell. About warranties and how that works, salesmen will not know that.

Normally during expo where Sharp SAs also present, the free 3 years extended warranty are subsidised by Sharp. This is what the Sharp SA told me, as I bought my 630 where the retailer is Desa Home, while my friend bought his 630 where the retailer is ESH.

Both were bought during expo (different expo though) and both came with free 3 years extended warranty and in both expo, the Sharp SAs were present too.

On a separate note, I saw at SenQ Melawati Mall the 60" 6800x has a price tag of RM4188. Could be a typo error or maybe the price is for the 50", but the tag is next to a 60" and there was not a 50" model on display.
I did not ask further on the price as no SA was around near the TV section

The model is correct bro.... CNY promo until 4 Feb only... I already grab yesterday at Senheng Ipoh... Cant wait buy at KL scared stock finish...haha... Wait for tomorrow the TV will arrive... Summore i signup for PlusOne member to get additional 1year warranty... Free gift Logitech wireless keyboard+mouse and Smart Home CCTV need to redeem from Sharp...
