You want Private Onsen Ryokan at Hakone...minimum need Rm3k starting price
Anything lower than RM3k wont have any ''private''

Your budget range....after I flip my 888 booklet. It match one record which I stay before
It called Hotel Kajikaso at Hakone Yumoto
Price around RM1k per night.
Got indoor & outdoor hot spring.

any recommendations of hotel with private onsen at Hakone?

you can try Yugiriso Ryokan. There's private onsen outside the room on first come first serve basis. It has its maintenance hour

I think i paid around RM700 per night.

you go any ryokan also need at least that kind of price biggrin.gif

Hi, any advice on my itinerary?

Looks really cramped. If you're still young and can handle 14-15 hour vacation days then should be OK, but it will be quite tiring.

Also, gala yuzawa you're planning to just play snow and try skiing for the first time? If so, try and sign up for at least half day group lessons in the morning so that you have the basics pretty solid and can explore some slopes on your own in the afternoon.

If you're putting onsen as a priority, I find Hakone no Mori pretty good. Wanted to stay there but due to having an elderly in the group and getting to the place appears a little complicated, I end up dropping the idea. You can book through Booking.com, but this is their official site: https://www.hakonenomori-okada.jp/en/e-home.html

Additionally, it's not easy to find dinner in Hakone as restaurants tend to close early. Will recommend that you consider including dinner in your stay.

Asakusa, Ueno, Ginza, Akibahara will give you more time to visit etc. and less time on transit

Or you can even go Shinjuku, Shibuya if you want but need to allocate some additional time to go there (from Narita) and then to Haneda airport

You're comeout at about 11pm. Plenty of time for train and bus.

Do not waste your time and straight go to the bus counter at the left or take train left (monorail) or right (keiyu line).

Thanks for highlighting. Do you mean vendors as vending machines or human sellers?
