Hello all, thought I would share with you guys on my experience with my ipx.
I previously owned an ip6, bought at SG as I was among the early adopter. (Super excited with apple finally releasing a bigger screen for iphones). Been using that phone for about 4years (I think) before it died on me due to rain (I'm cycling at the time and I put my ip6 in the back pocket and totally forgot about that).

So, I was thinking of getting an ip8 because of negative impression reviews over the net surrounding the x (with the face id not properly working, the battery drain issues, etc), not forgetting the hefty price tag.

Next day, with a firm decision of getting an ip8, I walk in to Celcom TTDI asking if they got a ready stock for 64GB. While they were checking, I "accidentally" look at the X and immediately drawn to it. When the salesgirl come I automatically says that I want to change to x, and 10 minuted later, I walked out from the store, kinda regretting my decision.

Once I got back, I'm pretty sure that I'll be missing my home button deeply, but to my surprise, I'm used to the "swipe up" in almost immediately. Gotta say that discontinued of the home button was the right move for them.

And face ID, omg..it really works..dont even have any trouble where I need to input the PIN code except for when my daughter is playing around with the phone (of course her face isn't registered in there so she just playing around with the camera only)

About the speed, I expected no less so its nothing to be brag about. But I'm quite amazed with the battery life. On average, it can lasted me for a 1.5 days til the battery drops below 25%, which is my standard practice for a recharge. Got no issues whatsoever with the phone an I'm glad that I "accidentally" choose this over 8.

On a side note, 2nd day of owning this phone, it dropped from the table because of the incoming call vibration. Luckily there are no scratches, and cracks whatsoever anywhere. Overall, very happy with owning this phone (although a bit heavy for my taste) and I'm expecting it can last me minimum 4 years, like my previous 6.

I purchaed Apple Lightning to USB Cable 1m from apple Lazada. Guess it is not the one. Is it expensive to get UsB C? 🙊

i'm late 20's but still prefer buying electronic things from retail shop I still feel not quite confident buying those items online although i love online shopping when i was studying in uk.

anyone using mous on iphone x? Compatible with normal car magnet?

Apple usb to lightning cable is the worse quality u can get for the premium price paid. The end of the cable will break easily.
Buy those with official made for iPhone logo for peace of mind. U can get it cheaper than Apple white cables, yet more durable. Most come with double braided outer and Kevlar reinforced inner layer.
Examples aukey, tronsmart (cheapest), energea etc.
Again buying online with discount codes are important.

I was pretty sure I would skip the X too, what with the asking price being over the top. Also, because I've only ever been using Plus size iPhones since 6, I thought the X was a little too small, but decided will try it anyway. And like you, just after a day, I'm not missing the home button at all

welcome all. yes, now im missing ipad without swipe up to go back to home LOL (swipe up for ipad is only showing tools and recent app).

Last sunday go sunway pyramid stick the x-one extreme back protector. Before i confirm purchase, i asked the sales person whether the protector on the camera will got lifted by the case and that guy very sure it won't. but end up, it does! that fella performed many times to fix but he failed! WASTED MY FUCKING RM99

Ya, had lifting issues with X-One for my ex Note 8 and thereafter decided will no longer buy X-One

Currently using Hoda, non-full coverage. Not that good though, lots of dust trapped at the side (just after a day, haha), but no choice, the full coverage one won’t work with my case.

Erm what case are you using? Just wondering how the casing will lift the camera protector? normally hear is the casing lift the front screen protector, but first time hear the casing lift the camera protector?

I had the same problem with the non full Hoda SP. Hard to wipe away as well. Now using the full one and I love it!
