I bought the Black color from Maxis centre, not sure if its G1 or G2.

Anyway, FaceID is sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss for me. At times I can't seem to get it to recognize my face - could be angle issue, so I rather just type in the passcode lol.

Overall I like the notification remains hidden until you unlock it - more privacy especially when your phone is always on the table.

Once i take out my glass, Face ID Failed

does all those so call 'screen protector' have the same smooth feel and touch as original screen or even come close? I've never use one since the days of iPhone 3  till X now.

Fitting seems really excellent. It is easy to fix as long as you watch the video carefully and don't make mistakes. No doubt it is expensive. But the feel is really solid and very clear and gives me confidence in protection. Just in case you all are interested.

ok charged to 100% today, unplugged and went into airplane mode... after a while, check battery and bam! again usage 26mins standby 26mins.... this is new coz it never happen back to back before.. now am i going to monitor it every night and literally hard reset my phone everynight?... if im going ignore it it'll drain battery all the way down the next morning...

Ya, agreed. The X is not an upgrade over the Plus size models but the regular models. It's just nice to have something different after 4 years of same old, same old

But silver sides you can polish the frame without worrying about discoloration, hehe

New owner here: Space Gray (256 GB) from MAXIS since yesterday. Because I ported out to DiGi before, tenure less than 1 year old so they needed me to sign up for auto-billing. Also changed from RM 98 plan to the minimum RM 128 plan.

Should’ve done more research for the casing + tempered glass protector. Got the SPIGEN Neo Hybrid but think the SP is too thick causing bubbles ... when I snap the phone into the case ...
