Cool...yes I kinda forgot about home button after 3 mins using the x tongue.gif the size is good just that I came from 3 generations of the plus models..so it takes time....but it won't be too long till the bigger x launch....I'll definitely get that  tongue.gif

bro, you running 2mdb or 3mdb? brows.gif brows.gif

By the way, anyone using the otterbox pursuit? I've been using the lifeproof fre on my 7 plus but they've yet to release one for the ipx. The pursuit case seems to be the closest to the fre that's currently available.

the upcoming ios update will have battery health check for user to monitor their battery conditions...
*
Knowing apple, the new iOS update is just about a warning that “it is a time to get your battery replaced or suffer from speed throttling” from apple.

Not really a battery health checker.

Yep that's the one, saw it at machines going for rm319 mad.gif

My 7 plus battery can last me for 2 days on average these days. Was even better prior to ios11, easily 2.5 days before recharging. Excited to see how long the ipx can last based on my usage.

Yea I've never liked the defender series. The silicone outer piece is a lint magnet and makes keeping and pulling the phone out of your pants pocket a real pain. The commuter is much better as the outer hard shell actually helps in maneuvering it in/out of your pockets. However the cut out for the Apple logo is exposed, which is strange.

The new pursuit series was meant to be an in between case, supposedly giving you the best of the defender and commuter but with a lot less bulk than the defender.

I last used the Defender for my iPhone 4S and it really made my phone feel like a brick, ha ha ha... since then I've used Symmetry and Commuter series on my iPhones 6 and 6S Plus, they seem to provide adequate protection already. This Pursuit looks interesting. Will check it out but most likely won't buy it at RM319 biggrin.gif

Finally got Cosmos Blue leather case. I cannot find it on reseller, need to order from Apple

Really nice color and I love the leather texture. But it is tight. I feel like I will scratch/damage the phone when trying to remove the case
*
Great, how is the durability of the case? Got myself a saddle brown apple leather case and it scratches was too easily, even a slight gentle touch with my nails it also leave permanent marks shakehead.gif

no point changing if the battery >80%. I will get a free replacement anyway if it is <80% within 2 years with AppleCare+. Will go in for a battery diagnosis on Dec this year to check on the health.

anyone bought their IPX with Hong Leong credit card promotion with RM 500 off with Maxis plan?
*
i've just applied for HLB cards at the branch yesterday, the branch staff has confirmed that balance transfer is no longer required. If I manage to get my cards approved, just buy the ipx from Maxis and charge the monthly billing to that card. HSBC is also offering the same but is RM400 compared to HLB RM500. If everything goes well then i will be getting my ipx at only RM2500+! rclxm9.gif cool2.gif

yeap.... I put an ip8 next to the x and press home button + swipe the same time.... the x get to home screen almost 2x faster as there is no delay in between..

charging time (based on personal testing):-

7.5W fast wireless charger - charge about 40-45% an hour
5w adapter + lightning cable (comes with the box) = 35% an hour
5w adapter + usb-c to lightning cable = ??
12w adapter (from ipad) + lightning cable = 65% an hour
12w adapter + usb-c to lightning cable = ??
29w adapter + lightning cable = ??
29w adapter + usb-c to lightning cable = ??

Durability is par the course for leather case. Got some small scratches there and there but not obvious. The case still looks good for now. Dunno how it will age

How is your case's fitting? Is it very tight and hard to remove? I used one for my 6 but it was very easy to put on and remove

I always wanted to get the saddle brown leather, but the lack of protection at the bottom puts me off though.

That's the one reason why I don't go for Apple's leather case too smile.gif
