QUOTE(clement5949 @ Dec 20 2017, 10:01 AM) admire the gorgeous phone unibody and fall for it in 5s got my ipx.put on case immediately to avoid fingerprint on the back put on screen protector to protect ur screen restore backup from ur previous phone however when im midst of setup apple id, it requesting to approve that device from another apple device that i have. i took me almost 1 hour to figure it out since i dont use icloud since ip5s. is this something new in ipx but then, now everything ok feels little bit diff, slightly heavier compared previous model. |

QUOTE(desreg2913 @ Dec 20 2017, 02:13 PM) this is normal when u login to new device with existing apple id. oh is it ?this is actually double protection for u in case someone login ur apple id without u aware. i think since ios10 already got this, its depends whether u have update the password protection. sorry can't recall the correct term. i thought new on ipx.. when i setup my ip7 last july, not so hassle like this.. but then, yeah it still secured enough thou even there are many steps involved. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Dec 21 2017, 10:53 AM) i use iclould once only on my ip5.after that no more.. not saying iclould, but my data also not many.. previously on ip7 256gb, i use around 40gb.. 128gb should be sufficient already.. but then never mind, cause i have bought it.. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Dec 21 2017, 11:08 AM) True also. Ideally 64GB is sufficient for 2 years usage. i started to use 64gb on 5s and since that my data consumption approx 40gb, not more then 40gb even until ip7 256gb. still maintain usage for 40gb.I use iCloud to store my photos and documents only. 256GB macam overkill.. Just go for 64GB. Can use alternate Google Drive or Dropbox to store your stuff if dont want to pay. however, i have bought 256gb. just live with it ! |

Just want to share some of my experience.
Previously i use ip7. At first, it took awhile to adapt with gesture. After use for 4 days, i get use to it and its new experience after many years of using home button including touch id. So far i seldom use physical button. Example to lock screen, volume button, screenshot even for restart. Most of time i use assistive touch for that funtion. So much helpful with combination of gesture. Yeah battery performance for me so far can fit my usage, ios 11.2 This post has been edited by lisahasan: Dec 23 2017, 10:31 AM |

Saved S$68 (compares to Apple Store). Topped up S$20 bought Apple Care+, extended warranty till Dec 2019 I use to have apple watch first edition 38mm[attachmentid=9449798] Yes its useful However maybe i not adapt to it.. use few months only.. And that time im little bit annoyed with battery drain caused of bluetooth. |
