So I made a complaint to Grab via the driver app about this super far pick-up distance and I asked them to remove my cancellation for this trip from my CR.
Report a past trip issue > Report a map or location issue.
The first e-mail they replied to me was that they don't respond to map or location feedback submissions at the moment. Why the hell did they offer that option in the first place? I knew I was about to be screwed left and right.
Then came in the second e-mail. To make the long story short, the staff said they can't remove this cancellation from my CR. Basically, it was my fault that the app showed the rider was 6km away from me but somehow it became 11km after I accepted his request.
That was it. I'll still be a Grab driver for the time being but now I am very confident this company has absolutely no interest in keeping their driver partners a little bit happy.
This is what Grab CS replied to me last time. Deswai I say HG will kena trap with far pick ups. You can be one side of the highway and ping come from the other side then GG super far u-turn. 6km also u accept bro? Haiz whatever la, next week no choice liao.

Then I said I don't think 5km pick up is reasonable and this is the reply.
