my analysis after grab - sea uber merge.

Uber drivers composition
a. having both grab and uber account.
b. uber account only. (i guess most are part-timer)
c. banned by grab, so only uber account.

1. So, only b group. and they may or may not sign up grab after merge. if join also not much.

CNY, onward can feel supply is much more than past, more new driver and demand is lesser.
Uber rides composition
a. having both grab and uber. like to compare price or faster get match booking.
b. only uber account. - selected area. and minor are like uber culture.

2. For b, it has no choice , have to come to grab later. only the selected area will found more booking than past. regular area, will have abit more demand since no more price compare.

Is rider is king? not really. bcoz lesser choice. especially high demand area.
i too positive to grab statement.

my incentive not yet in, called Crap he says wait till midnight if still no then call again, he says ppl start getting incentive since last night but by batch, some will get today.

usually there's announcement for delay or what but this time nothing no notice or sms, ask them they says normal.

if continue like this , it was quite impossible for full timer to cont long , due to sudden change of far PuP , and alot driver will be banned due to high cancellation where cs just suggest you cancel without telling you will be ban .

else , those full timer just take the reduced income trip and complete it , by the way , their income have been reduced .

( please mention your location for the far pickup ) , certain area due to the traffic , where grab just use straight line calculation.

( while if far pickup continue , maybe screen shot a few and post here )

today morning, all pickup distance is more than 4km.

after ignore 1 cancel 1, terpaksa pickup also.

another challenges of crappers is riders left items inside the car.
even worst for part timer like me.

have few incidents before.

1. Woman called said daughter left water tumbler. i informed i would need to charge her for RM14 to send her back. then she said ji ust keep it. later i suspect she gave me 1 star. CB rider expect me to send back for free ??

2. Rider called left his glasses. i said need to charge RM15. he okay. I no choice but have to sent back at nite and drove home just for the glasses. but at least he said thank you

3. Rider called left the handphone. I told him i am driving ask him to wait i shall call. then the joker approached police bantuanan to call me. i have no choice but the return to him immediate. just charge him RM10 only but foregone mt MP block. sohai rider as if i wanted his handphone, i wont answer the call.

4. yesterday rider left hiking stick at my car. this morning CS called me. I told CS if i need to send back, please convey message i will charge. or i prefer send to Crap office easier. the CS said this is between rider and driver.
note : until now the rider yet to call me. So i think i shall just return to crap office tomolo better.

my point is CS shall be more supportive to drivers in handling these. if we confirmed the item is with me, we can choose to return to crap office or at a time convenience to us....

i always try check every drop off but sometimes could me miss too.

1Q2018 gone & April-fool no sign of improvement.

Morning 8~11am, completed 8 Jobs with 10 Cancellations & 2 Ignored. All PuP above 4km with 10min+ at smooth traffic. 3x No Show & many wrong PuP location. The worst was PuP at Cheras batu 11 where Rider at Berjaya Time Square 😐

That means our thai, viet , pinoy and indo compatriots all no see destination?? I am sure their traffic is even WORSE then ours.maybe their incentive system can compensate? Or maybe their fare charge by the minute 

1hr system hide destination, ppl here all wanna die oredi.... imagine if they made it official...

1- promo now 0% commision to Mycar. so Driver get 100%.

2- depends location. now with promo, sure rider will try n error.

3- less? mostly kena banned from Grab is here. so nope.

4- no ar and cr means mcm dlu again. tambang besar all the way.
easy bruh. its good to have Mycar keep in check for Grab.

u need to report the passenger as well. because of ppl like u these cheap passenger think we are obliged to do what they told. just choose the sad emoji and spam the reason. Why u want yourself to get punish for no reason. its your 'goodwill' to stop them at your own cost and time.

i can share with u how i handle this one, dont care about your rating first. if all the drivers act like u, they will think the one doing the actual right thing is actually wrong and being very calculative.

Just tell them, i can give u maximum 2-3 minutes time because you are on an incentive at no cost to the passenger, every extra minute u charge them 50c. (fair? same rule as taxi) U tell them shit la not like they know. say taxi charge 50c/minute. Let them choose. U dont choose on behalf of them. (This is what u do wrong). If they say not paying, there u have your answer, just drive them to the destination. yes, it might affect your rating. but its short term.
U have to stand very firm, that grab drivers dont wait for free, inflict it to their cheap mind.

50% still agree with me and 50% think im calculative. at least some passengers agree with me. Hey, this is business im not doing charity. Im not your private chauffeur also

yesterday my first KLIA trip with grab, from Sunway, RM65.
reached KLIA at 5pm...entered the queue at 700 i think.
about 1hr40mins, i got my ping, even tho it says my queue is 100...
initially i tot when it goes <100 i'll go toilet & prepare.  so end up holding pee until drop off rider...return trip to Tmn Desa, also RM65...
10 months with Uber, countless klia trips, never ever got a return trip.  3rd day with grab, and my first klia pickup experience. 
for me, 2 hours wait is okay, well within acceptable range. if >2hrs then maybe a little too much.

question to sifus.  if i ignore a request at KLIA, what will happen? e.g. if the ping is like KLIA to mitsui outlet park and RM15, i'd very much like to ignore since i've waited 2hrs..
on friday last week, got a request from Sunway to Setia City Mall, RM45 and rider got RM10 promo, so rider pay RM35.
went thru a toll, and it was RM2.40 so total fare is RM37.40
first of all, had to wait for almost 8mins for the rider to show.  never mind, i can smoke a cigg while waiting.
then she said she's in a hurry and ask me drive faster.  i did, not super fast, still within limits and drive safely, and managed to get her there 4mins earlier than originally estimated by waze.

fare was RM37.40 and she gave me RM50 to change.  i searched high & low, and i only have RM0.50 in coins.  So i asked her if its ok i short charge her RM0.10 and give her RM12.50 instead. 10 cents.
she was like    and asked me a couple of times "You don't have 10 cents? U sure you don't have 10 cents?" 

at the end, i took back my coins, and gave her 40 cents discounts instead. It seems the 10 cents matters more to her than to me.  Some more got the farking nerves to ask me where MCdonalds is in the mall.  i simply turn my head and said i don't know.

what bugger is this? as if i short change her RM10 bucks!! its 10 cents for  out loud! 

just to share, yesterday, got a RM5 job.  and the rider gave me RM50 to change.  I didn't have enough to change her.  In the end, i only took RM3 from her as that's all the small change she got.  and i took it with a smile. no problem whatsoever with that.  to give me  for 10 cents is like....gooshh...
this morning, got a RM6 ping while i'm still completing my job. within a minute, the next rider send me msg. "How fast can you get here"
waze says i'm 8 mins to drop off so i told him i'll be there in 10mins.
and he goes "please cancel, i've waited 5 mins already"
i replied "i just got your request. U can either wait or cancel"
then it went quiet and i already know i'm gonna show this guy darkest face he'll even see. so, instead of risking my rating, i'd rather cancel him.  but i won't cancel just yet.  was planning to wait few more mins after drop off 1st rider before cancelling him. let him have a taste.
but he cancelled the ride within a minute after i drop off the earlier rider. 
realize this drivers...riders needs drivers more than the other way around. we can find another RM6 job easily. but having to deal with these kinda assholes...even RM60 also not worth it.

This morning my first ping out of house at 8.15 am was RM5. Even the worst time during uber I never get anything so ikan bilis. At this peak hour its always 1.6 to 2.0 and a short trip to neighbourhood LRT would have been at least rm8 to rm9. After yesterday's 11 RM5 jobs out of 21 jobs, I already damn fed up. Nevertheless I still pick up coz only about 5mins from my home. Along the way almost reaching the pup, she send in a msg asking to wait 5mins. I immediately text back with a no and as I passed by the house and no action seen I immediately cancelled it. She can go and eat banana and wait for the next driver. I no hard up for your RM 5. Thereafter next few pings all also between rm5 to rm7 with far pick up point. I ignored all and my AR plunged. Another bad day ahead.

I actually expect the rider to go, its ok, keep the change, or round UP. My trick is i will pretend struggle to find coins..
Last thing i expect her to actually expect 10 cents change.

the ppl here who complain about having no change.. basically never prepare a float before they start work. wallet empty also they start driving.

but bro... you keep way too much change la.
rm100 worth of change enough to start the float. especially if you are full time and work whole day.. end of the day your wallet is prime Target for robbers.

nowadays evening too many drivers until almost no surge. times are tough, everybody wanna be driver. morning drivers usually full timers.
