at peak hours, i was at KL gateway mall on the way going up to vertical bangsar south.
I stuck infront of kl gateway mall for 30 minute++ before i can even reach vertical bangsar south.

ping come in while i am still infront of kl gateway mall, the driver request to go from pantai hillpark to 1utama.

he self cancelled the job.

after few seconds, another job comes in and he also self cancelled the job.

all these passenger cancelling the job is very hard to avoid de ma right for us driver.

 

I foresee another wave of cleansing of Uber driver because some unable to adapt grab style.

Those who can survive here is because we know what we doing, it had been discussed over and over again and some of them still don't want spend time read through.
There is one week i have above 30% cancellation rate, reported each of that and nothing happen. Next week manage to push down below 30% and DAX below 10%.

Weekend is the best time to push down the rate, weekdays better pandai pandai use the online/offline function.
Their main purpose is not e-hailing, is to lock consumer and tie them in their eco-system. For example u can see Grabfood, Grabpay, GrabRewards etc.

It is the same like what Tencent doing on wechat in China. Making your life cannot live without wechat.

Simplified version: i waited at klia almost 2hrs. Got the ping, went to PUP at klia2. Msg rider i'm otw.
Reached PUP, called rider, no answer. Called again, some pinoy cunt answer. Say she already went off in another car she booked using another app.
I farked her upside down until she hang up. Then i cancel the ride selecting rider no show.
Went back to wait area, my queue number no more.
Called grab cs, he say nothing they can do, nothing i can do.
Lesson learnt the farking hard and expensive way.
CS teach me,
1) next time, call the rider straight before leaving wait area to make sure.
2) dun cancel the ride. Call CS, tell them the story & they'll cancel (Cancelled by Operator)
That way, i can go back to wait area and still have my number.

2hrs wait, travelled 15km thru & flow, and nothing. At the end, went home empty car, and my CR went up. Rider will get nothing. She oredi otw home, will sleep soundly tonight, no cancel fees. Even if her acc got ban, she can always ask friend to request for her.

Single most fark up experience in 11months as driver. Was so farking furious i could kill someone.

Grab app masked the rider number, otherwise i'll continue call and fark her till kingdom comes. Farking cunt!! I believe in karma. I really pray she get into accident and live rest of her life bed-ridden. OR get cancer and die alone slowly. @!&$&!?$&!&@@! FARK! FARK! FARK!!

Again, am newbie with grab..didnt expect this but i'm sure many driver experience before. Now i know better, and hopefully, my paid lesson will help other newbie/ex-uber drivers to be smarter & wiser. I certainly learnt it the hard way.

weekend incentive max were hp , where 1 to or 2 ping per hour was not enough at all lols  ( klang area 2 ping were average . )

never see non-stop ping in klang haha

Today after friday prayer 2.30pm i got ping to KLIA
The rider so friendly so we chit chat along the way
Flight is at 5pm

Mana tahu got serious accident at ELITE there, because chit chat all the way didnt notice waze changed route last minute..was stuck for 1.5hours and rider missed his flight and book another flight

Felt half-guilty bcoz didn check waze properly so i didnt charge toll.. luckily rating went up

Hi everyone, I'm still a newbie for grab and also this discussion board.

Can anyone briefly analysis on 51 trips or RM793 per day?
It's doesn't make any sense to me, 51 trips per day only achievable if that driver manage to get all the Ikan Bilis trip the whole day ...
Only for flexi driver who tend to get the majority short distance trip?
PS: my holding record is only around 3x trip per day with many cancellation (pax + dax)

Aiyo friend... lu suka la... you want count cost of your makan cuz cannot tapao your mummy favorite curry mee to work/drive, you count lo. Want count cost of buying air freshener cuz of wangi rider you count lo. Want count cost to wash car cuz you worry affect rating you count lo. Heck you can count cost of sunscreen lotion or panadol cuz cannot tahan rider ask you silly question. Face mask? Many riders sneeze/cough you know. Pepper spray? Mapren very dangerous oh. Cockroach bait? Many riders bring lapsap into your car kay. Lawyer fees leh, many rider suka-suka sue you for asking silly questions wan woh.

Nobody made you an offer you cant refuse to drive grab mah. If you feel not worth it cuz you have other options can earn >RM20 an hour....

On a serious note.. some ppl here twice as qualified and 10x as experienced then you and some driven few years faced few thousand riders dy. And there are about 50k drivers in kv, what you're wondering or unsure about sure got answer dy.
Instead of looking silly by jumping into conclusion or assumptions, why not seek out their free opinion. You'll just look terribly bad and rub ppl the wrong way...  later kena warning letter again..

no more going into condo to pick up. your pick up point at guardhouse, we wait at guardhouse for 5 minit, no appear cancel bye bye. 
extra method to game the system to reject long trip. accept the long trip request, park further away, walk to the pick up point, press arrived, wait for 5 mins (hoping the passenger wont call), then cancel bye bye. wait for new short trip request.

Raining so heavy weh, balik dulu, done for today.
