Nope. No spending requirement also. But it will be credited in the next statement. I'll try to cancel after that again see what happens.

13 July 2023 paid to Marriott vacation club [5D4N complementary trip package, pay hotel tax only]

13 Sept 2023 05:11am credit card fraud [2months frame, auto blocked by the bank]

2024 did not join any complementary trip from CIMB, swipe whole year nothing happen.

15 Apr 2025 paid to Anantara vacation club [4D3N complementary trip package, pay hotel tax only]

4 June 2025 05:34am fraud [2 months frame, auto blocked by the bank]
================================

fraud details:
merchant code: MCC6513 real estate
merchant name: VTG park place
amount: USD 2286.60

For the CIMB complementary trip package, me and the hotel representative communicate via email/whatsapp. the hotel tax is paid by clicking the payment link sent by the hotel representative from the email. so I suppose the potential risk is this spot.

I'm using (actively) 13-14 different credit cards and only CIMB kena fraud. good news is CIMB auto block the transaction (CS said the transaction made is not located in Malaysia).

I had experienced a few times of fraud when I was using CIMB TWE for 2 years (2022-2024). So, I think it is an information leak from CIMB.

(b) click on the link sent via the email by the hotel representative?

all my CIMB/ALB/RHB/BR/AMBank/PBB are actively used in the past 2years on various of platforms, only CIMB kena.

No for both. Every time I report here that my card got fraud, other people will report the same.

Does this card need to submit proof of income documents?

When you apply for a new credit card, you need to provide income documents.

If you already have a credit limit from CIMB Bank (conventional banking), you may have to "convert" from CIMB to CIMB Islamic. Talk to CIMB Card Centre. Not easy to have 2 credit lines, each from CIMB Bank (shared for all CIMB CC) and CIMB Islamic Bank (shared for all CIMB Islamic CC).

Visa Infinite no need to provide income documents.
Just provide an email address and sign on the form will do it.

But the VISA Infinite Islamic, I think need income document

Guys remind me about CIMB TW/TWE card. Annual fee is charged even for first year if didn’t hit the spend requirement right?

Yes. Once approved it will be charged within a month.
