Just applied this card and approved. 22k points can redeem RM50 right? For bigpay i normal swipe in d evening to make sure transaction date is on d 10th, only then will get 20k points. There was 1 month i overslept n did it on the 11th n luckily trx date was predated to 10th. This post has been edited by Barricade: Sep 27 2021, 04:04 PM |

Reload 20k to TnG and transfer to Go+. Earn interest 1.5%.
Convert 20k / 12 = RM1666.67 payable monthly. Withdraw from TnG to repay CIMB monthly Not bad right my plan? This post has been edited by Barricade: Oct 28 2021, 08:59 PM |

those that convert to instalment please beware. they didn't credit any points to me but they dare to deduct points. I have 20,000 points last month. this month my transaction all convert to instalment. i am not supposed to get any points this month. But CIMB deducted 11k points from me. After complaining to them only they credit back. WTF the most shittiest bank ever!

QUOTE(jerantut2011 @ Dec 11 2022, 09:54 PM) Yes, booked the hotel in Bali. I was only asked to pay for the government taxes - which are not refundable. Link to the hotel. Reservations need to be made by emailing Marriot team in Thailand : How much was the taxes?preview.phuket@vacationclub.com https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/dpsm...sa-dua-gardens/ |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Feb 6 2023, 12:48 PM) Thanks for the suggestion. Im defo doing that for Citi. SCB and HSBC so that this TWE year can be the "cooling off" period for sign up offers. Speaking from my experience HSBC hard to apply back once cancelled. SCB no problem. I’ve been milking SCB sign up rewards for two years consecutively. HSBC no such luck. I tried reapplied back but was rejected. Only recently after 2 years they approved my application. Definitely not because of credit rating because I have zero loans and zero late payment for the past 10 years. Also thinking to cancel the rest (AMB, HLB, some PBB, Affin, AE0N) as after more than 10 years of cashback mining I'm now focusing on miles. As I get older and cashback rewards are less generous, holding 20+ cards is not as fulfilling as in my younger days. Will start the culling from the most useless cards first and see how it goes. Also keen to get TWE supp for my husband. Saw that some people advised going to branch to apply instead of online. |

QUOTE(okyjace @ Feb 16 2023, 01:59 PM) I applied for, and received, the Travel World Elite card in October. Happy to share that I've received the Annual Fee RM1215 refund this month and also managed to secure 3 nights stay at the Marriott Mao Khai Beach Phuket Resort. About the hotel stay, worth pointing out that it is not entirely free because of THB4800 fees and taxes. Also the resort is not beachfront, despite having Beach in its name. It is a 600m walk inland - I read that there is buggy shuttle available. I would highly recommend this credit card, especially if you qualify for first year annual fees waiver. 3 nights or 4 nights? |

Actually the free Marriott stay is nothing to shout about la.
I find Maybank's promotion much more attractive with Anantara. Nicer hotel, just right beside Marriott Phuket. Free airport transfer, comes with daily breakfast and free RM390 credit to spend. https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/mala...-promotion.page? |

QUOTE(hown @ Apr 1 2023, 10:51 AM) Anantara? you want u go lo Lol clown. Purposely go look for 1 star review and share? Plenty of 5 star comments about the talk also wat. Why don’t you share those? The resort has 797 5 star reviews and 24 one star review, why don’t you highlight those too and not be bias?Quoted from https://privileges.anantaravacationclub.com...3P/en/index.php "*Offer is provided at a discounted rate in return for your compulsory attendance at and completion of an Anantara Vacation Club preview presentation lasting approximately 90-120 minutes during the stay.
