WRONG , it is BASE ON STATEMENT AMOUNT.
So if you have spent RM 1000 in Petronas + RM 500 in Groceries,
Your statement amount will be RM 1000

Cashback on next statement : RM 60 on Petronas + RM 15 on Groceries

So next statement starts with negative RM 75
you need to spend at least RM 1575 to eligible for the cashback

DO NOT REPEAT MY ERROR.
i lost RM 60 due to this

For Petronas Visa Platinum, you will be saved coz most of the peeps will spent RM 1250 on Petronas, and the min state amount is RM 500 , so just do RM 1250 per month will do

If I am only interested in Dining category, I need to spend an accumulated amount of rm500 on dining ASAP n not included with filler, like 300 on dining + 200 on ewallet?

Dining spend RM500 to get RM20.

So mean first month i need spend RM1575 to get RM75 cash back next month. If next month i dont spent any (RM0 spent) mean i won't get cash back for that RM75?

just count your monthly spending only

dont count cashback

1st month u spend 1500 cause opening balance is ZERO.

2nd month due the cash back u have a -75 opening balance, thus u need to spend 1575 to make closing 1500.

CIMB Octo app QR reader is not reliable. I need a backup.

I tried scanning a DuitNow QR with CIMB Octo but it failed. Then, I scanned the same QR with Shopee app and it succeeded.

Don't link to CIMB CC. Most of the merchants don't allow CC fund.

I haven't reached the point of paying because the Octo app cannot read the QR code. They have a software problem.

International airlines - I guess with cross border fee?
Malaysian airlines - No cross border fee?
Firefly - No cross border fee?
AirAsia - Maybe?

MH doesn't allow you to change the local currency to RM right? Eg Malaysia Airlines GB (departure: London Heathrow), can't pay in RM, so no cross border fee issue (but additional charge on foreign currency conversion).
