Agree that the the CIMB WTE currently offers the best conversion rate for Enrich until the end of Year 2023 at RM 1 spend = 10x Points = 1 Enrich mile or 2.5% cashback (if you choose to convert Reward Points to cashback at 400 points = RM 1)

I received grab code early january this year, I think for spending around november last year.

For PPL, from my understanding from the t&c, it's the entry for that respective quarter when spending requirement is met. So for quarter 1/1- 31/3, entry is given 1x during this quarter.

From the T&C it says "Lounge Access will have a validity of one (1) year and will be granted within 30
working days after meeting the Spend Condition."

Nothing new, it is called Cross Border Transaction Fee. Foreign transaction cost higher than local transaction, even though it is in RM. Luckily some banks don't charge it eg Maybank.

Even you buy at apple.com/my or dell.com.my, etc and Shopee Malaysia in the past, might be channelled to foreign site for payment processing. Still process in RM but it is CROSS BORDER transaction.

If it is in Ringgit, why would it incur a higher costs to CIMB? Apart from CIMB, SCB, any other bank charges this? Bank Islam or RHB charges this?

Anyway thanks for the information. I will wait for CIMB reply. This 1% thing, that means next time cannot pay for online transactions because you never know the company behind the online transaction uses which gateway to do payment processing.

Both of you are talking about 2 different waiver conditions. Both are different but both are correct.

Ps. For existing CIMB cc holders, you can also waive your first year AF if you managed to spend 240k before you get your FIRST cc statement
