Hi all, want to ask something regarding online transaction. I bought something from Amazon using cimb debit card just now, so I keyed in the payment info and stuff but the transaction wasn't reflected on my statement and the transaction appeared stalled, do I have to call cimb to activate overseas online transaction or anything for the payment to go through?

For debit card, yes I think you should activate for online transaction usage otherwise payment won't go through.
Also, you can ask CIMB CS, why did your payment not honoured.

Just call number at back of your debit card. I believe you can repurchase the item after all these are set.

PayWave can? I thought all banks cannot do it? Maximum limit set by BNM is RM 250 but there's no minimum limit set.

Saving RM37 ~18% cash back

You forgot to calculate the 1% normal rebate.
188-25-1.88=161.12, ie RM80.56 each.
If you applied discount code on 23/2, 169.1-25-1.69=142.41, ie RM71.21 each.
You have 4 months (March-June) left to get RM25/month.

Anyone here tried purchasing ANA flight tickets using CIMB Cash Rebate MasterCard? I purchase last week then only saw the amount that got charged to my credit card got 1% extra compare to the SMS amount that i got last time when finalizing the purchase, what sort of surcharge is that or is it some sort of error?

If MYR, +1%.
If in other currency, around +2.5% total.

questions about prepaid lazada card.

1) after application from website (and transfer fund via FPX), can you use the card immediately?

2) does it need approval, like 7-14 days?


i'm encountering this treatment from cimb whereby card pending approval for few days now.
