Too bad..but since u are into modding, that's the price you need to pay

If stock absorbers from Proton, maybe less than rm1k for all 4.

Next time u may want To service instead of replacing your adjustable
*
well, if servicing the absorber 2-4 days no car to use. and difficult to tell if it is going to be a one time fix or recurring time after time.

After using the car for 2 years (80,000km), the damage so far.

Essential:

Mitsubishi Fully Syn 5w40 Minyak + Oil filter + Labour (8 times) = RM 1,200
Viking 18' Donuts x 4 pcs = RM 1,150
Century car battery = RM 300
Ori Aircon blower + DIY = RM 380
CVT filter set + Jepun DiaQueen J1 oil + labour = RM 1,000 (Taobao china filter set)
Alternator belt + tensioner + idle pulley set + labour = RM 400 (Taobao china set. Last for 10 months only)
New mitsuboshi alternator belt = RM 160
New ori tensioner + labour = RM 420
New ori alternator over running pulley + labour = RM 430

Non essential (But force to change)

GAP hi-lo hard soft absorber with bracket + misc = RM 3,500

Total damage = RM 9,020 unsure.gif

Out of this $9020, $4,430 (items in red font) should have been avoided if (a) knowledgeable technician is available, (b) buy only ori parts

2 years but high mileage la dude.
80k km is most ppl almost 4 years mileage.
And if u remove out the adjustable..
It's roughly 4k for 4 years.
Right about there for a c seg car.

Do reminded tyres inclusive. Many so high buy cheap or dun even want to change until can see wire mesh

Coz I am looking at this line only mah:

CVT filter set + Jepun DiaQueen J1 oil + labour = RM 1,000 (Taobao china filter set)

Didn't mention how many times is done.

If it is 2 times then around RM500 each time then is cheap, since it is 80k km I think maybe 2 times already, I also service every 40k km.

Actually it's the cost for 1 time service.

1 x oil strainer (big metal piece)
1 x oil filter (near the car battery)
2 x rubber gasket (one for oil strainer, one for oil filter)
2 x 4L J1 oil (RM 200+ per tong)

Definitely should not be like sponge.

My clutch is slightly softer than my BLM, but it's very "numb".
BLM is sightly stiffer but can feel the bite.
*
Its was very light, but i nvr felt any sign on disc slip or anything.. and the bite point was very high as well.. bite not too noticeable as compare to blm..

Long story short

Left rear toktok sound

Workshop A checking and suspect the rear disc brake harness is loosen. Repaired. Same old shit.

Complaint to A again, this time he suspect the absorber.

Get workshop B (so call absorber specialist) advise. He open up the adjustable, check and assemble back. The adjustable absorber terus mati. But B die2 argue the parts sdh sampai hujung hayat.

Since the spoiled absorber making hell lot of noise, get a new set at GAP. The GAP technician inform the bushing of stabalizer bar dah kapuk. Kononnya this produce the tok3

Buy bushing 40 ringgit.

Oh, that's why.

I only bought one tong, the workshop allows me top topup another RM50 (or below can't remember) for the extra J1 required, so I only paid RM700+ for the same service with everything same except the oil.
