QUOTE(neochin @ Nov 7 2018, 02:00 PM) Recently booked a Mazda 3 with high spec (Deep Crystal Blue) last month, any feedback on how long is require to collect the car and heard that Mazda Car is limited stock by end of year 2018. Did you ask your SA? I think the waiting time will be much shorter than the other siblings..CX3 and CX5. Maybe 1 month+?

Yes indeed , she told me that it will be available by end of Nov, but I have doubt that because other SA mentioned it roughly only can get it by early of Jan 2019, maybe it depend on allocate of production based on branches. May need opinion from others who ordered during this period

Hey guys, appreciate some opinion here.
I just recently sold off my Mazda 2, the previous gen. 2010 year. Currently moving back to West Malaysia.
Looking forward to buy a Ford fiesta Ecoboost version but came across Mazda 3 hatchback. I know Mazda 3 should be compared to focus but my budget is below 50k for used car.
Question is how well the Mazda 3 drives against the fiesta in terms of performance and handling. I would say I'm a heavy footer and tend to cut alot. Mostly will be using for highway. Would a m3 1.6 be enough for my use?
Should I get a fiesta ~40k, Mazda 3 2.0 ~42k, Mazda 3 1.6 35k?

The fiesta ecoboost is a fun car to drive but require higher investment in time, energy and money to maintain.

Thanks for the reply. Had to opt out fofi Ecoboost due to the possible higher maintenance as well.
Any common issues for the older m3? Anything to note when checking for used unit?

QUOTE(vincent_on9 @ Dec 11 2017, 02:44 PM) just to share... i have got these two particular "suspension noise" 1) ngek ngek noise when go through higher speed bumps, during wet road conditions - 2) "kruk kruk" sound when going through uneven roads, very soft only noticeable when turned off the speakers. but somehow annoying. Is this the famous kruk kruk sound that most of you have with the suspension? my car only 7k mileage, less than half year old...didn't expect these appear so fast lol.. damn i have this since day 1 collecting my car on 2017 september ! you have the solution? went back to sc but the sound isnt there and then they say dunno the issue , fuck.....

Been smelling petrol outside my car after performing 60km service about 2 weeks ago. Will send for a check tomorrow. I suspect there's a leak somewhere.
Meanwhile, any of you guys have experienced this?

With the i30n possibly coming to Malaysia as Sime Darby is displaying it in KLIMS18 to gauge public interests . Would Mazda want to fight with what is the current potential king of hot hatch killer? That is the question of whether an MPS version will exist or not with stiff competition from Japan in the form of Civic Type R and i30n from Korea.

It's been out for awhile. Gradual introduction in Malaysia too.. So question should be how much they'll charge to retrofit..

Was at Bermaz Glenmarie this morning. Asked them if there is availability of Android Auto or Apple Carplay available in Malaysia, no comments from SA. So I guess we just have to wait for the official channel in MY or just retrofit the infotainment.

It is just business logic to do whatever is profitable. Why make a souped up hatch just when 2% of the market will actually buy it. They should know their game well enough.

But being a small corporation compared to peers, they just won't have the resources have pet projects like this which not only suck resources, but could potentially bring them losses. But the sensible tuner in us know that just plonk in the 2.5T version of the skyactive engine in CX9. The engine bay is big enough to accomodate it as the long tube exhaust extractor gives lots of space. Can stuff someone's head in empty space between the engine block and firewall at a squeeze, a turbo snail won't be a problem.

The previous MPS was also a CX7 motor if i am not wrong? Aftermarket mods, anything goes. Even a 4-rotor setup.
