the shutter sound doesn't bother me. Been using the 7 plus camera mostly to take product photos with the shutter sound on anyway.

So all the same? Other than the power adapter I guess.

Yeap the power adapter uses different pin but this is least to be worried about with all the extensions we have

Biggest issue with Jap Phone is that their camera sound when taking photos cannot be disabled unless jailbroken.

Thats all.

if you commonly take sneaky photos, then you might have a problem.

yeah the reason why jp set iphone camera got sound because.........japan girl skirt very short.........and those guy love to take photo brows.gif brows.gif

If you have existing apple devices, dont see it as an issue.

Since all their power adaptors come with interchangeable heads.

Just buy the head or just use one of the existing ones you have.

How many of us here using iPad adapter to charge their iPhone X? I have an adapter from iPad Air 1, is it totally safe to use it on my x?

And how many % do you get per an hour charge with the iPad adapter? Pls share.

With the adapter/cable comes with the box (5W), an hour charge gets about 30-33%.

The phone is rated for much higher charging.

I have been using an ipad charger to charge all my phones since the 6 plus.

After all the hand me down.. my mom has finally killed the battery on the 6 plus.. thats after 3 years.

1 year of heavy use by me, 1 year by my wife and finally 1 yr of average use by my mom.

I think thats pretty good lifetime already for the battery. HAHAH.

and frankly, when charging on my mac with the usb c to lightning, im definitely sure 1 hour hits 100% or rather over 100%

dont see how the heck u can survive with 1 hour - 30%

No it wouldn’t harm if and best if you use the ori or certified third party cable and adapter.

I am using iPad air charger to charge up my iPhone x too, the original power brick is way too slow edi. Usign this can charge 2x faster but not as fast as the 29w power brick. Oh and use a USB fan to prevent the phone from getting too hot during charging doh.gif sweat.gif

Haha been doing the same with my previous 7+...because the main culprit the battery will degenerate is due to heat so a fan blowing it while charging wont harm tongue.gif

30% to 80% is a lot of diff but I think I’ll still not use it lol, felt like it’s going to torture my batt in long run and reduce its life span...quite happy with 40-50% remaining at the end of the day, don’t wanna come to a point that I’m living in fear of no batt...or having to charge it few times a day (despite fast charge on a 12W adapter) #ocdmax lol sweat.gif
