I'd have full covered glass that is full glued since it's full glued, sensitivity not affected as compared to full coverage but not full glued, a big air gap at the screen will definitely affect the sensitivity of the screen

Thank you for your feedback. Yes the tempered glass has to be firmly and completely glued to the screen, or there will be sensitivity problems. Saitong09 didn't answer my question so I believe he/she had such problems.

I will search for a full-coverage tempered glass to replace the part-coverage one that is currently installed.

lol overlook your question. I have only full covered tempered glass and my friend have the part-coverage R5+. Can feel the sensitivity but is acceptable for me

I have been advised by the guy who installed the tempered glass for my Note 3G many years ago. He asked me to wait for the fully transparent full cover glass to become available. Currently the full cover glass in the market have colored bezels (black, white, gold colored bezels), and those types may not stick so well, resulting in less screen sensitivity.

Think I'll heed his advice and be patient. I had introduced 2 friends to his shop for tempered glass....one zenfone 2 and an oppo. Their phones and mine all had no sensitivity problems, so he should know what he's talking about.

Yep I missed that on my rn4.....and now they gonna release the note 5 month end....haih.....just got this 5 plus 2-3 week ago leh.....oh well next month new phone again I guess 🤣🤣🤣

the tempered glass i am using now is not the full cover type. but no hindrance or issue for me at all

Looks like we both got the 5+ around the same time.

Overall I'm rather happy with this phone with no intent to change anything except for the tempered glass, but I do look forward to your early-adopter review of the Malaysian market Note 5! Maybe u'll poison me to get one too

I'm using partial-coverage glass too (has a notch). No issues except for one: I really like full screen gestures mode, and this glass is not curved at the edge, so it feels rough when swiping from the edge of the phone. A full-coverage glass with curved edges would give me a better experience.

I have no qualms buying under 1k phones every couple of months if it's that good. I use the rn4 64 GB for slightly over a year so it was about time to change.

U should consider becoming a youtube phone reviewer! I believe the reviewers who have many subscribers do get free devices and early evaluation units from the manufacturers.

the solved bug list stated in the update didnt happen to me before.

I itchy backside and updated. After it was installed, was stuck at lock screen...couldn't swipe up. Rebooted and all was well.

I did get at least one of the bugs in the list. Now the "icon and battery level" display seems stable. It had played hide n seek with me a few times b4.

Do you feel that the power buton it kinda insensitive? Like less tactile feel..

just feel slightly, very little insensitive, not a very big issue since we have many alternative ways except the phone completely off and we need to turn it on. beside this, I hardly use the power button.
