I bought Nillkin flip case, the case thicker than the camera so is protected
I think the adhesive is around the edge
Yeah Nillkin's a good quality case and the thickness will surely protect the camera bump. But flip cases aren't convenient for me. I've found several back covers which have circular bumpers around camera and fingerprint sensor in Shopee....still pondering which one to get

Just let my 5 Plus (3GB/32GB) go yesterday, overall summary of my two months experience with the phone: -
1. This was my secondary/backup phone, so I wasn't expecting much from the phone and just needed it to do basic stuffs, like Waze, some social media, YouTube and a little web browsing. I'm pleased to say that it did those stuffs pretty well, to a certain extent. Waze locked on pretty fast although I did read some concerns about this with MIUI but I'm happy to say there was no such issue with mine.
2. My last experience with MIUI was a Mi3, so needless to say, it has improved in leaps and bounds, ha ha. There's still some bloat on it but some of the stuffs there are kinda useful, like the remote control.
3. Battery life is very good.
4. The screen is a nice size and resolution is pretty OK, though the colors can look washed out at certain angles. Then again, it's not a flagship grade screen so it's acceptable at that price point.
5. I did encounter some lags browsing certain websites. The pics took longer to load then it should. Most notably on lowyat.net website. Tried on both the Mi browser and Chrome and results are the same.
6. The camera is not the phone's strength.
Good phone, but worth paying RM150 more or so for the 4GB/64GB versio - I bought mine a week before that one was released!

Gotta agree with most of what u wrote...I haven't used it long enough to comment on battery life, but I'm glad that u found it to be good. I had fun controlling the tv with phone...but doubt I'll use that feature much (unless my tv remote goes kaput)

Makes me glad I shelled out for the 4GB/64GB version. Browsing is snappy on Mi Browser, Chrome and Firefox. And coming from the Redmi Note 3G with a pathetic 8GB, the freedom to install all the apps I need without having to uninstall and juggle apps is great!

I found that my eyes are more comfy and noticed less wash-out on the screen at certain angles with Standard colors + Increased Contrast settings.
It took reading many reviews, watching lots of youtube reviews, visits to various phone stores including 2 visits to the Mi Store and much thinking before I decided on the 5+. I had wanted to wait for the Redmi Note 5 (China version with f1.8 back camera, the rest of it is similar to the India Note 5 Pro) but my old phone had started to malfunction intermittently and it took 4-5 seconds to boot up Whatsapp. Overall I'm happy with this purchase
